okay this day has been fucking eye opening so mutuals react to this post if you're 16 or above so that i don't feel like a grandma around here

I don't really like when people don't like what I like. I've never had anyone who actually likes what I like. I would show someone something that I find funny or weird and I have an open reaction to it. They see it and their reaction is more like, "eh". If I show you something and there's a glimmer in my eye or you think that I find this thing interesting, at least pretend that you find it interesting. You don't know what that does. You don't know how much that damages me when people at least don't pretend. You don't do anything or you make it REALLY obvious that you DON'T care.... It hurts. It hurts my head and it lowers my self-esteem. It makes me less likely to show you things. It makes me less likely to show how I feel because I think that people will react negatively. If you're having a bad day and literally nothing can cheer you up and everything else is ruined? I get that. I'm like that sometimes. If I show you something and you tell me that you're having a bad day or you're not feeling it today, I won't be damaged. I can relate to you and I can understand what you're feeling and I won't bother you and it won't hurt my self-esteem. It's when you don't do anything that it hurts. Those situations turn into really awkward ones and I go hide in a corner of shame because now you're judging me. Really I'm just asking that if you are shown anything by anybody, I want you to react in a good way. If you smile and say, "that's cool!" Then you could really make someone's day. You have no idea how much power you can have to take and to give with just a reaction. ......
