Jupiter in Gemini tasked us with embracing adaptation while avoiding fragmentation. It was a year of throwing ideas at the wall to see what sticks (fitting for the rise of AI). Now, as Jupiter enters Cancer, we shift from thinking to feeling. Here, abundance is tapped through instinct.

Cancer is the filtration system for Geminian fads, where ideas become ideals. The concerns that made it through life's sieve have touched you. You can capitalize on them to nourish yourself and your loved ones. However, as the focus contracts from social to insular, the risk lies in neglecting what is going on outside your door.

This will be a more private time where we’re less likely to broadcast what is in our hearts, but more likely to attract the auspicious company of those who share our devotion to a belief or value. Jupiter is moon-ruled in Cancer, making us subject to emotional outbursts and, therefore, prone to exhaustion. We sense that we are more vulnerable, and we are, because we lack the Jupiter in Gemini capacity for mental gymnastics that enabled us to avoid what we feel in our bodies. We need rest now to fortify our nervous systems. Rest will bring luck.

Naturally, this is a moment that exalts Cancerian interests like safety and nurturance, but with caveats. Supporting others emotionally or financially so they can achieve their dreams is good. However, the instinct to shelter can also become smothering and coercive, even mafia-like, if taken to the extreme. Nationalistic trends are bound to be exacerbated during Jupiter in Cancer under the pretence of providing 'protection for 'one’s own people'. What we love fiercely, we tend to fear losing irrationally. Overreaction and overreach are always symptoms of Jupiter, so make sure that your care is an oasis, not a prison.
