When I posted about those Jungle Pups toys the other day, I mentioned that I wasn't sure if we were getting any plush dolls to go along with them. A follower of mine on instagram informed me that they'd actually seen some at their store, so I tried tracking down some pics. I figured I'd share them, just in case any of you wanted to see them, too.

These are honestly really, really cute! I almost want them all! 😂

That's a tough one, since I didn't find the season all that enjoyable or memorable. If I had to pick one...

"Jungle Pups: Pups Save the Big, Big Animals"?

Probably because it's one of the episodes that was actually good to Marshall, not to mention it gave him plenty of screen time and allowed the pup to fully succeed at his task (something I complained about today regarding the second Rescue Wheels episode). Besides that, the episode gave us an interesting new location, a fun plot, some new additional wildlife to the cast, etc. It wasn't perfect by any means, but I still rather enjoyed it.

So... yeah, I'd say it's my favorite of the season. And now, because why not, here are some cute pics of Marshall from this episode. :)

I know I haven't been to the store in a week or two, but here in the States, places like Walmart and Target have yet to stock any. Outside of the DVD, they're not even listed on their websites, either. The only place selling them right now is Amazon, and they don't even have the full catalogue. Maybe they're still coming, but I don't know.

Unless there's some sort of delay I'm not aware of, I'm starting to wonder if we'll see them here in the states at all... especially since Nickelodeon recently aired all of the Jungle Pups episodes within a single week, almost as if they just wanted to get it over with or something. They took their time with those Mighty Pups episodes, and even Aqua Pups was stretched through an entire month. Jungle Pups, however? It's like a big whatever to them. I don't get it...

PAW Patrol's becoming so weird nowadays. The merchandise tends to be their lifeblood, and yet it feels like they're treating some of it like a shoulder shrug. There were barely even any Christmas products this year, which is especially odd. What gives? Given Spin Master's trying to give the franchise a fresh coat of paint with that new animation style, you'd think they'd do their best to keep it fresh on the minds of children and fans. But... I guess not?

A user on the PAW Patrol Wiki found a magazine that gives us our first look at one of the upcoming Jungle Pups toys! According to the article, North America will get the Jungle Pups episodes in the spring of 2024, while the toys should release around January.

Naturally, we'll get the usual merchandise, such as figurines, vehicles, etc. It didn't mention anything about plush dolls, but surely we'll get those, too (it's almost always a guarantee at this point).

However, what caught my attention was the article mentioning Marshall getting a "Deluxe Elephant Vehicle", which, going by the description provided, sounds like it'll be another one of those larger toy sets! The spotted pup's received a few over the years, such as that Ultimate Fire Truck and the one released for the first theatrical film, so I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures of this one! Can't say I'm looking forward to finding a spot for it in my collection though, since I'm already running out of room again. 😅

A new episode aired today, and as per the usual, you know I have to post some new Marshall pics! I actually had a bunch of pics to choose from this time, because... it's a Marshall episode! It feels like it's been a long time since we've been given one of those!

The description even directly mentioned Marshall, so I was glad to see it did, indeed involve him quite a lot! And as it implied, Marshall learned that a sabre-tooth tiger was tracking them, despite everyone believing they went extinct long ago.

As for the episode, itself, I thought it was fun. The plot and visuals were often interesting, and as per the usual with full 22-minute missions, every pup got their chance to help out, which is always nice. And of course, I loved that Marshall had a lot of involvement, so that's a huge positive for me. I'm glad the writers are finally starting to use him again for big things! It's been a long time coming... and something I'm very happy to see again. Here's hoping it keeps up!

New episode, new Marshall pics, of course!

The first segment - "Jungle Pups Save the Meerkat Pirates"

This one marked the return of Arrby, who we haven't seen since season 9's "All Paws on Deck". I won't spoil things, but it was rather cute seeing how he got the meerkats to listen to him. I'd say this one was the better of the two segments.

And the second segment - "Jungle Pups Save a Hum-Hippo"

It's a Humdinger episode, so you know what to expect. Honestly, there's not a whole lot I can say about this one, as I largely found it pretty forgettable. Sadly, Marshall didn't get called in during either segment, but given how great last week was to him (his appearance in Rubble & Crew and last week's Jungle Pups focusing on him so much), I suppose I can't complain. Zuma, however, got called in during both segments, so hey, there's that! :)

Canada aired a new episode of PAW Patrol today. The first Jungle Pups, in fact! We finally get to see the new subseries in action!

"Jungle Pups: Pups Find a Hidden Jungle"

As previously reported, instead of gaining a new pup, we've got Tracker helping out the team for this subseries. Honestly, he could certainly use more screen time, so I actually really like this choice!

Otherwise, this being the first episode of a subseries, naturally every pup got their chance to shine at one point or another. Although Marshall didn't step out of his new vehicle much (none of them did, really), it was still cool seeing him use his new Elephant-themed vehicle. Naturally, the trunk stands in as his water cannons, which is pretty cute. Honestly, I think fans will enjoy seeing the other pups in action, too.
