What makes Marshall the perfect fire pup? Let's take a look and see!

I'm a tiny bit more active on BlueSky, and recently, I posted about how I saw a video of a PlayStation 2 on Reddit, and it had a plush of Marshall in the background. I'm into retro consoles and games, so it gave me an idea. Besides, it'll give me an excuse to post something again (stuff that's not just more dailies, anyway).

Every now and then, I'll post a pic of one of my consoles, and just for fun, I'll include Marshall in it. I'll even list some trivia, too!

Here's my PlayStation 2! Complete with two memory cards, and a certain Dalmatian at the controls. Naturally, a fire pup's gotta have a fire red DualShock 2 controller!

Some info about the PlayStation 2...

It hit store shelves in North America on October 26, 2000.

It's the original home of many fan favorites, such as Final Fantasy X, Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, Jak & Daxter, and one of my personal favorites, Ōkami.

It can also play PlayStation 1 games, as well as DVDs.

It received its last game on November 8, 2013... seven days before the release of the PlayStation 4!

As of June 2026, it remains the best selling video game console of all time!

In truth, some folks still consider it Sony's best video game console, and it remains beloved to this very day. As you can see in the picture, even Marshall's enjoying it! I wonder what he's playing?
