It would make sense as to why he’s so not annoyed about Zhao Zi and Shao Fei’s relationships with Jack and Tang Yi respectively.

When Jack comes in the first time we see him looking suspicious before he shrugs and let’s it go. Cue asking his boyfriend Andy about Jack, because the entire police unit is protective of dumb!shaofei and dumber!zhaozi. And then Andy explains before distracting his boyfriend with his latest purchase. And then the SECOND time Jack comes by Jun Wei just winks and leaves the bbybrother!zhaozi to admit to his feelings.

Don’t even get me started on Shao Fei’s relationship. Jun Wei was the first aside from Meng Shao Fei himself to realise the brewing relationship between the two. (INSERT QUICK BACKSTORY ON HOW ANDY AND JUNWEI MET AT THE BAR) as well as how he managed to get intel on Tang Yi and a date at the same time.

He super chill because he’s already done enough background research on both men to deem them good enough to handle his younger brothers. (Though he will never admit it. He has already thoroughly planned his heart break speech for both tang Yi and Jack and it includes a visit from Yu Qui who is already over Shao Fei but still as protective)

Also Andy finds his boyfriend super hot especially when he’s jealous (INSERT WHAT HAPPENED TO ANDY AFTER JUN WEI WITNESSED HIS BOYFREIND MAKING OUT WITH TANG YI)

When dumb and dumber find out who Andy’s boyfriend is, they can’t help but pout at the fact their brother didn’t think to help them out. All I can hear Jun Wei say when they question his loyalty is “trust me, I already gave them the shovel talk and did enough background checks that should be considered illegal” that leads to them arguing even more.

BONUS!

The chief thought he had only lost two of his “sons” to gangsters. Never did he think he would lose his oldest to a vixen who happened to be smirking at him as he and his two gangster friends picked up the three men.

The Chief nearly has a heart attack until Yu Qui calms him down, only enough to admit she would be joining them since she had recently become smitten by one of Tang Yi’s guards.
