CHINATOWN — I am extremely un-athletic.  Notoriously clumsy, and prone to freak accidents - I am not someone you would ask to join you in a game of squash or on an evening jog.  Despite the fact that I spend most of my time walking and exploring NYC, I am constantly looking for ways to get excited about being more active. Anything new or a fun workout class that comes out I am excited to try. For example, last year there was a trampoline class that was offered with a company down in Chinatown.  Jumping around, with a disco ball and listening to techno music? That sounds like a fun weekend evening for me. Getting to call that a workout? Unbelievable! I went to the first class and loved it. It was so much fun and I was thrilled to have found my new hobby!  Unfortunately as someone who doesn’t workout regularly I am unaware of the regular pre-workout requirements - so for my next class I hadn’t eaten anything and hadn’t had anything to drink. Five minutes into the class, the strobe light and blasting Rihanna started becoming too much and I thought I was going to pass out. I spent the rest of the class huddled under a stream of cold water in the bathroom. #awkwardlyinthecity
