Y/N nervously adjusted his glasses as he waited for Jules outside the campus cafe. He had only met her once before in their Literature class, but her confident and vibrant personality had drawn him to her instantly. When she had suggested going on a date, he had eagerly agreed, despite his usual shy demeanor.
Jules arrived looking stunning, her black bob framing her face and her purple dress hugging her curves. Y/N's heart raced as he stood up to greet her. "You look amazing," he stammered.
Jules grinned, leaning in to press a soft kiss to his cheek. "You clean up pretty well yourself, handsome." She linked her arm through his and they headed inside.
Over coffee and dessert, they chatted easily about their favorite books and authors. Jules was lively and funny, making Y/N laugh more than he had in a long time. He found himself drawn to her intelligence, passion, and charisma. She was so different from the shy, nerdy girls he usually crushed on.
As the date drew to a close, Jules turned to him with a coy smile. "Would you like to come back to my place? I have some fascinating books I think you'd enjoy."
Y/N felt his cheeks flush but nodded eagerly. He was intimidated by her boldness but also deeply aroused. As they walked to Jules' apartment, their hands brushed and Y/N shivered at the contact.
Once inside, Jules pulled him into a passionate kiss. Y/N responded clumsily at first but soon lost himself in the sensation of her soft lips and skilled tongue. She pushed him back onto the couch, straddling her lap and feeling her hardening bulge.
"Tell me what you want, baby," she purred "I want to make all your fantasies come true."
Y/N swallowed hard, desire warring with embarrassment. "I...I've never done this before," he admitted shyly.
Jules' eyes widened and then softened with understanding. She cupped his face tenderly. "That's okay, sweetheart. I'll take good care of you."
She kissed him again, slowly undressing him as they made out. Y/N tentatively explored her body in return, marveling at her soft skin and perfect curves. Jules moaned encouragingly when he palmed her breasts.
Y/N gulped nervously, eyes widening as he caught a glimpse of her thick, girthy cock before she put on a condom around her thick cock before she lift Y/n a little softly pressing her head against his virgin hole.
"Oh fuck," he breathed, heart pounding as he felt her heavy shaft and head rubbing his virgin hole. He was both terrified and incredibly aroused.
"Shhh, it's okay," Jules murmured, stroking his hair soothingly. "I'm going to be gentle, I promise. We'll take this nice and slow."
She moves up to kiss him, nipping at his bottom lip. At the same time, she reached back to rub her cock between his ass cheeks, coating herself in some lubes and Y/n hole with lube too. He gasped into her mouth, muscles clenching involuntarily.
"That's it, baby," Jules cooed. "Just relax. Let me in."
Slowly, carefully, she pressed the tip of her cock against his fluttering hole. Y/N whimpered but didn't resist as she began to push inside. It burned as his virgin hole stretched around her thick girth but it was a delicious kind of pain.
"You're doing so well," Jules praised, bottoming out with a groan. She stayed still, letting him adjust to the intrusion. "God, you're so tight. Feels incredible."
Y/N took deep breaths, trying to relax into the sensation. The fullness was intense but also deeply satisfying in a way he couldn't quite explain. After a moment, he nodded at Jules. "I'm okay. You can move now."
Jules smiled tenderly at him and began to withdraw slowly. Y/N gasped at the drag of her cock against his inner walls. Then she was pushing back in, setting up a gentle rhythm that had him moaning softly.
"Ohhh fuck," Y/N whined, fingers digging into Jules' hips. "It feels...so good. Never knew anything could feel this good."
Jules laughed breathlessly, picking up speed. "Mmm, I love breaking in tight little virgin boys like you. Ruining your holes for anyone else."
She fucked into him harder, swaping positions and she gets on top of him while Y/n lays on his back, making the couch creak beneath them. Y/N could only hold on for dear life, letting her use his body for her pleasure. He had never felt so vulnerable yet so deliciously owned.
Jules shifted angles and Y/N saw stars as her cock dragged over his prostate. "Aaah! There! Oh god, right there!" he babbled incoherently, bucking up into her.
"You like that, baby? Like when I nail your sweet little prostate?" Jules growled, pounding into him relentlessly now. Y/N could only nod dumbly, lost in ecstasy.
"Gonna...gonna cum," he choked out warningly. He had never cum hands free before and he wasn't sure what to expect.
"Go on then," Jules commanded breathlessly. "Cum for me. Show me how much you love my cock wrecking your boy pussy."
Y/N threw his head back with a ragged cry, body seizing up as he spurted pearly ropes of cum between them. It was the most intense orgasm of his life, white hot pleasure short-circuiting his brain.
Jules groaned, drilling into him harder as she chased her own release. With one final brutal thrust, she buried herself deep and came with a guttural moan. Y/N could feel the heat of her seed filling him up.
They collapsed together in a sweaty, panting heap. Y/N's whole body felt boneless and utterly spent in the best way. Jules nuzzled into his neck with a satisfied hum.
"That was incredible," she murmured. "You did so good for your first time, baby. I'm proud of you." She says as she softly gets out of him and throw the condom to the bin, before going back to the couch and grabbing Y/n in bridal style carrying him to the bed as Y/n arms wrapped around her neck before he felt soft mattress on his back and jules body cuddling beside him.
Y/N felt his heart swelling with affection. "I couldn't have done it without you," he admitted shyly. "Thank you for being so gentle and patient with me."
Jules kissed him deeply. "I'll always take good care of you," she promised. "This is just the beginning of our adventures together."
Y/N grinned, already feeling his cock stirring again at the thought of all the filthy things she might do to him next. It was going to be one hell of a ride...

The football season had come and gone. You were finally relaxing after travelling on and off with the team, handling the media communications, scheduling the press conferences. You sighed as you rolled out of bed, the sun tickling your face across the blinds. You swiped your hand to your left, patting down the spot next to yours. Empty…That’s odd. You quietly rolled out of bed, comfortably stretching your aching body. The blinds were promptly opened, light flooding the room as you embraced the new day. Your stomach grumbled, your nose dancing at the smell of something sweet coming from the kitchen. You grabbed your phone, before wrapping yourself in a light blanket and walking out of the room. Strutting into the kitchen, you were greeted by a breathtaking sight. Standing with his back to you, there he was shirtless, his hips slowly dancing to older R&B tunes. Sensing a shift in the air, accompanied by the faint scent of your body mist, he stopped dead in his tracks. He turned around, greeting you with a smile.
“Bonjour mon cœur.” He rushed to place a kiss to your temple, his hands snaking around your collarbone to pull you in closer. “How did you sleep? I did not mean to wake you up this early.”
You looked down at the watch on your wrist; 8:25 AM.
“It’s okay,” You sighted lightly leaning into his embrace. Jules kept a hand around your collarbone while the other stirred around whatever was in the pan. “What’s cookin’ good lookin’?” You teased the French player.
His chest rose up and down from his laughter, the vibrations creating a fuzzy feeling that spread across your body.
“I’m trying to make pancakes.” His face contorted with confusion. “I was gonna surprise you with breakfast in bed.” He sheepishly confessed. “I even bought fresh oranges to make hand pressed juice, no pulp. Just how you like it.” He tried to give you a peck on the lips, only for you to pull away.
“Morning breath.” You excused yourself to the bathroom to freshen up.
Your mind kept wandering as you washed up.
I know why he is doing this today of all days, you thought to yourself as you spit the toothpaste out. I wonder what else he has planned for today, you thought, raking a hand through your hair. You had heard of people whose experience had gone totally wrong and you prayed it wouldn’t be the case for you guys, you worriedly though to yourself.
When you finally exited the bathroom, Jules was sitting at the kitchen island, waiting for you. Seeing your shadow appear from the hallway, he hurriedly put his phone away, but not before you could get a quick glance at his panicked expression. Weird… You thought to yourself once again.
“Can I kiss you now?” He teased you. You nodded at him before he leaned it to press a quick but delicate peck to your lips.
“What has chef Koundé prepared to accompany today’s breakfast?” You asked, unable to tear your eyes away from the plate.
“We have fluffy vanilla pancakes, doused with the perfect amount of maple syrup, and finally, topped with fruit slices. No cantaloupe or grapes for ma’am.” He gestured at your plate before comparing it to his.
“Thank you, my love.” You rested your head on his shoulder before digging in.
The breakfast went by almost quietly, the sound of clattering cutlery accompanied by your satisfied hums. You and Jules often did that, eat in silence. It was an opportunity to recharge your personal batteries before unwinding for the night. Ever since the beginning of your relationship, neither of you felt the need to bring work home, opting to make your house a work-free zone. After all, you worked alongside one another almost every day. After both plates were cleared, you cleaned up the island, opting to set the plates down in the sink. Jules jumped on the dishes, shooing you out of the kitchen.
“Why don’t you go relax a bit? I’ll come join you after I finish the dishes.” He shouted across the kitchen.
You walked back to your bedroom where the scent of sleep welcomed you back in. The bed was messy; the decorative pillows sprawled across the floor in a symphony of fabrics. You sat down on the bed, trying to find the energy to start cleaning the room. You lived in Jules’ house, having decided to move in together almost 2 years ago. Yet, your heart was keen on keeping the house you were living in prior to your relationship, to your move. Having both struggled with your finances when growing up, you collectively decided to keep one house in your name, and one in Jules’. You had promised to buy your forever home once married, viewing the joint purchase of a new house as the best way to start your new chapter together, a place for you to make into a home.
Consumed by your thoughts, you barely heard the door of the bedroom creak open, Jules’ body dropping next to you with a heavy ‘plop’.
“What’s on my smart, beautiful lady’s mind?” He scooted closer, his hands resting below your jaw, thumb faintly caressing your cheeks. “Mh?”
You looked at him through your eyelashes. You couldn’t tear your eyes away from his. You were mesmerized by the way his eyes flickered with glee and love every time you were the subject of his attention.
“How I love being in your arms.” You giggled, leaning into his chest. His arms instinctively wrapped around your body, pulling you as close as possible. Unable to resist, you closed your eyes, the sound of his heartbeat lulling you to sleep for the second time today.
———————
Hours went by before you woke up again, this time with Jules sleeping soundly next to you. His left arm was slung around your waist, fingers softly digging into your skin. You heard the covers shuffle before a deep voice filled the silence in the room.
“I guess we both needed that nap.” He confessed, stifling a yawn. “You’re such a loud snorer.” He faked his outrage, dramatically put his hand to his forehead.
“I’m not!” You lightly tapped him on the shoulder, embarrassingly burying your head in his chest and under the covers.
“You had the foundations of the house shaking, I thought I was finally experiencing my first earthquake. Had we been in California, I swear I would have thought it was the ‘Big One’.” He lightheartedly teased you.
“Stoooop.” You jokingly begged him, your cheeks sore from laughing so much.
“I hope our kids don’t inherit your snoring habits.” He innocently said, unaware of the vicious attack awaiting him.
Faking offence, you retaliated.
“I hope our kids don’t inherit their dad’s humongous feet. That shoe size of yours is absolute madness. Every time I want to buy you shoes, it feels like going on a wild goose chase. You need feet reduction surgery.” You exploded in a fit of laughter at Jules’ expression.
“You know what they say about men with big feet, right? Big di-”
“Jules!” You squealed in disbelief, grabbing your pillow from behind you and lightly smacking him.
You both took a moment to calm down, your breaths finally going back to normal. You were still facing one another, unable to look elsewhere. Jules’ lips were curled up in a genuine, love-struck smile.
“So… You want to have my kids?” He teased you, knowing damn well you would give him 100 kids if possible.
“Nah, you got those giant feet. Your genes are gonna have my kids stomping on the floor at the age of 1.”
“What are you on? Our kids will be advantaged because of my feet genetics. They will be super fast on the field, gonna carry the Koundé name across the best European clubs.”
“What if they don’t want to follow your footsteps?”
“I’m sure the firehouse across the neighborhood will be happy to take them in.”
“You’re unbelievable.” You broke into a fit of laughter, tears rolling down the corners of your eyes.
“No but in all seriousness, I would love to have a family with you.” You confessed. “I dream of the whole ‘getting married, having kids, a dog, and the house with a fence’ thing.”
A silence hung between the two of you. It wasn’t uncomfortable but rather, familiar. You did not need a verbal response to know that you were both on the same page.
“But, as much as I would love to have a family with you, I don’t feel ready to cross this line yet. I long for the day where two smaller heads of hair will come rushing to the door to welcome me after a long day of work, but I wish to savour our relationship, us, a bit longer.” You confessed.
Jules listened carefully, your need for a bit more time as a couple resonating perfectly with how he felt. He didn’t mind having kids later in life, as long as it got to be with you. Contrary to what he had seen or heard from his friends and colleagues, Jules knew your paths were destined to be intertwined beyond the terms of boyfriend and girlfriend long before you two ever spoke to one another. To say Jules loved you was a lie. He worshipped every move you made, every word to have ever left your lips. He worshipped your intelligence, and the goodness that surrounded you.
His hand rested on your lower back. Jules’ mind was racing at the thought of disrupting the routine you had kept as a couple for the past few years.
“I know you’re a woman whose goals are always set in stone. And I wish to highlight how much I respect that, how beautiful I find it to see you, so goal driven. But I see something wrong with what you’re asking of me, of us, and I cannot ignore that.”
He pulled away, blindly rummaging through his bedside table, nervously pulling a neatly wrapped box. He sat up as your eyes scanned his face for any hint of sarcasm.
“I had originally planned to do this over dinner, or a walk on the beach… Something more romantic than…this.” He gestured with his free hand. “But I quickly realized that it wasn’t authentic to who we are as people and as a couple. I like how easy it is to love and to feel loved with you. I like how… how we can take anything and turn it into a discussion filled with jokes that will bring us to tears.”
You looked up at him, his glossy eyes meeting your surprised ones.
“You know, when it was announced that you were taking over the media position, my heart fluttered. Before I had even seen your face or even introduced myself to you, my soul knew that my life would not ever be the same again. You are the best partner I could have ever, ever, ever, asked for.” You were at a loss for words. The more Jules rambled, the dizzier you felt.
“I knew since the moment I saw your smile across the room that I wanted to give you the wedding of your dreams, the kids, the dog, and the house with a fence.” Your eyes danced between his teary eyes and the box he was holding so tightly against his chest, you were afraid it was going to break. He fiddled with the box, his hands shaking as he struggled to open it. Your hands laid gently on his, your body slowly leaning onto his.
“It’s okay. Take your time, my love.” You whispered against his lips, stealing a shy kiss from him.
He cleared his throat.
“You are my God-given solace. My refuge, my biggest ally, loving you is my greatest and truest achievement. If I were to die tomorrow and must start all over again, I would look for you in every life, and in every universe. Will you marry me?” He broke in a nervous fit of laugher as he presented you with the carefully selected ring, his last sentence hanging heavy in the air. “And subsequently have my giant-footed babies?” He whispered in an attempt to alleviate the thickness of the tension.
You wish you were able to control the flow of tears streaming down your face as you realized what had just happened. The brightness of the diamond bringing you back to reality. Jules’ face was broken with the anxiety upon waiting for your answer.
“Yes. Yes, I’ll marry you and have your giant-footed babies.” You let down a sob as Jules’ exhaled a sigh of relief, carefully sliding down the Emerald-cut ring down your finger. He brought his lips to your knuckles, peppering your hand with light, feathered kisses.
“I had the ring engraved.” He pulled it off your finger to show you. In an almost invisible calligraphy, the words ‘To my God-given solace’ were permanently etched into the metal of the band. Jules slid the ring back on your finger, his eyes unable to peel away from yours.
“I love you, ma fiancée d’amour. Happy anniversary.” His arms wrapped around your shoulders.
“I love you, mon fiancé d’amour.” You giggled in disbelief as you pressed a sensual kiss to his lips.

You tore your mask and gown off with a smirk after another successful transplant surgery. You glanced up to the gallery and your smirk instantly dropped, your eyebrows scrunched as you headed to the sinks to scrub out. Your eyes locked on an anxious looking Millin who looked a moment from hurling herself off a building.
It had been a while since you last spent time with her. She had found what was apparently the girl of her dreams and had had tunnel vision ever since. Something you respected. You fell back and focused on your work. But when you looked at her now you knew something was terribly wrong.
You exited the scrub room and made your way to the Attendings’ Lounge. Your shift ending soon. You decided to take the moment to undress and wind down. You were in the middle of changing. Your scrub top was in your work bag waiting to be taken to your apartment to wash and you were buttoning up your jeans – only wearing your black bra – when Jules slipped quietly inside the room, eyes red and puffy. She paced back and forth for a moment.
“Hey, what’s going on?” You asked your voice soft with concern in that way that made the mahogany-haired woman’s stomach churn and heart warm.
She stopped pacing, her eyes trailed from your socks to your abs and further up to your face. She seemed stuck in time, a tear slipping down her cheek that made you drop the black long-sleeve you were about to don and pull her towards you by her arms. Your thumbs swiping the tears from her cheeks, a pit sinking into your gut. You questioned more insistently, “What’s wrong Jules?”
She attempted to pull away from your touch but you refused to let her.You cupped her cheeks attempting to draw her stormy brown eyes to your own – she refused to yield. “Hey, don’t do that. You came to me for a reason. Talk to me. I want to help,” You whispered patiently, tenderly.
Jules didn’t want that right now. She shoved your chest harshly making you stumble backwards nearly falling over an end table. Your lips parted in shock.
“Jules.” You mumble and she wiped her tears with her palms. A deep breath and more silence…Your jeans sagged on your hips as you waited.
“Just… don’t.”
You nodded slowly. She still couldn’t meet your gaze.
“She left.” Jules spat through gritted teeth like she was in physical pain and your expression instantly slacked from confusion as the realization dawned on you.
“Wait… Yasuda sh–”
Jules runs her fingers through her hair as more tears breach her stormy irises that still refused to meet yours.
“Fuck.” You mumbled knowing the brunette well enough to know if you dared showed an ounce of pity she would run and never look back.
“Yeah.”
The door to the attendings’ lounge swung open in that moment and you grunted as Millin shrunk in on herself. You brushed past her and glared at Dr. Ndugu, pushed a hand against his chest, and forced him out of the room as he protested.
You walked back to your locker and pulled your long-sleeve over your head before wrapping your jacket around Jules’ shoulders. You snatched your bag up and pulled your shoes onto your feet, then you wrapped a strong arm around her waist and guided her out of the lounge. Her head hung, her footsteps unsteady.
You bypassed families and coworkers alike not even chancing a greeting as you guided her out of the hospital and into your old F-150. You opened the passenger door and practically lifted her into the truck, tugged the seatbelt over her trembling frame and shut the door. You climbed into the driver’s seat and pulled out of the parking lot carefully.
Five minutes into the drive she began sniffling. Five minutes after that the silence of the road was replaced by the sound of her heavy sobs. Your jaw has set by the time you pull up to your apartment. You shut off the engine and slouched into your seat. Gazing at her as she sobbed and after a while you opened your arms offering a shoulder.
She glanced at you teary-eyed and sniffling to keep her nose from running. The sleeve of your jacket over her mouth to muffle the sobs that tore through her and you draped your arm over her shoulders. She scoots into you leaning towards you sliding across the bench seat until her head is resting on top of your thigh her tears seeped through the denim as you rubbed her shoulder and back soothingly.
“Let it out.” You whispered.
She sobbed harder burying her face into the denim of your jeans as you moved to pull the elastic from her hair and stroke your fingers through it. “I’ve got you.”
“She left me!” She cried out.
“I know. I know.”
An hour later the sobbing seemed to recede and Jule’s phone was blowing up with texts from her friends wondering where she was. You watched as she held down the power button and turned her phone off.
“Let’s go inside. I’ll heat you up some leftovers and we’ll watch a horror movie.”
Jules rolled her eyes and scoffed. “I don’t need coddling, I need something hard.”
You smirked at the unintentional innuendo.
Her face scrunched in disgust and she smacked your chest. “Not! Like that!”
She groaned. You laughed warmly. “Ouch.”
“Don’t be a baby. I just meant Tequila.”
You nodded as you climbed out of the truck and she followed, wiping her face with the sleeve of your jacket. Her nose, eyes, and cheeks rosy. “I don’t keep that shit in my house, it tastes like cayenne pepper and bad decisions.” You shiver at the memories as Jules groans loudly and drags her feet.
“I have whiskey though.” You informed as you walk up the steps and open the door to your apartment building.
“That’ll do, I guess.”
You nodded as you walked up the flight of stairs with the brunette in tow. You finally reached your apartment and unlocked the door. You dropped your bag and kicked off your shoes, setting them on the rack. Calmly, you made your way to the cupboard reaching up to the top shelf. You pulled down the large three-quarters full bottle of whiskey and two glasses.
Jules sighed and leaned against your kitchen island shoes having tracked in mud but you’re too focused to care. You opened the bottle and poured two glasses to which Millin snatched them both and downed the sickly sweet liquid inside. You gaped in shock and chuckled as she grimaced and wiped her lips. You poured more into the glasses and snatched the second one before she could get her hands on it. You took a breath in and clinked your glass against hers. You tapped the glass on the counter and breathed out, tossed it back with her and inhaled slowly– shivering in disgust.
Jules smirked. “Pussy.”
You rolled your eyes and moved to the fridge to pull out the leftover fried chicken and homemade mac and cheese.
“How do you find time to cook?” The brunette asked as she poured herself another glass.
“Day off.” You mumbled with a smirk as you pressed the buttons on the microwave to heat the food and moved to the fridge to grab a Powerade.
You slid the bottle of blue electrolytes to her. “Electrolytes with your liquor?”
Jules rolled her eyes and twisted the cap open begrudgingly taking a sip. You nodded approvingly and headed to your bedroom to get undressed. You sighed as you tugged your shirt over your head and unbuttoned your jeans letting them fall, still stained with the brunette’s tears.
You stood confidently in your boxer-briefs and bra taking a breath and a moment to yourself. You were shedding your boxers and pulling up a pair of thin pajama pants when Jules walked in with her thumb pointing to the kitchen her eyes instantly falling on your limp dick.
You cursed and turned your back on instinct.
Her spluttering halted as she tilted her head and smirked at the ink scribbled across the back of your thigh, “Is that a tattoo?”
You hurriedly pulled the pajama pants up and tied them securely. “What did you need?”
You asked ignoring the heat in your cheeks and ears.
“What does it say?” She asks referring to the tattoo on the back of your thigh just below the curve of your glute.
You groaned and brushed past her hearing the microwave beep. “Your dinner is done.”
You tried to brush her off but she didn’t let you. She followed you into the kitchen and poured herself another glass as you grabbed her a fork and slid the tupperware to her.
“I won’t eat until you tell me what it says. I will starve myself, I swear.”
You roll her eyes at her tipsy dramatics. “Fine. It says ‘Pleasure Over Matter.’”
Jules snorts before keeling over laughing and you smirk embarrassed but glad to see her smiling. You just watch her with a soft look in your eyes. “Now eat your food. You know you want it.”
“You are so… full of yourself, my god!” She cackled.
You rolled your eyes and picked up the fork, stabbing some elbow noodles and held it to her lips. “Eat.”
She takes a bite and moans softly before taking the fork and digging in. “Am i drunk already or are you a good cook?”
You smirk. “Both.”
You watched her eat and poured yourself another glass of whiskey and downed it in one go. You stuck your tongue out and made a noise of distaste. Jules eats slowly but surely and taps her glass for you to top her off. You do. She downed it, took a pointed sip of Powerade and went back to eating as you screwed the cap on the bottle and placed it in your freezer to the brunette’s disappointment.
“Come on.” You mutter and guide her to your living room as she eats. You turn on the tv and let her pick a horror movie as you sink into the cushion of your couch beside her. She settles on Scream, one of her favorites.
You sit through most of the movie together. She finishes eating and sips at the Powerade you gave her and she turns to look at you. “How are things with you and Dr. Shepherd?”
You press your lips together and turn away from the gorey movie to hold her gaze. “Uh… nonexistent. I don’t accept that type of betrayal as something to move past.”
Jules nodded slowly. “So you two are over? Like for good? How can you walk away that easily?”
You snorted. “You just walk away and don’t look back.”
Jules nodded slowly again. The alcohol made her slow to process. “Is it that easy?”
You scan her face and realize hastily she’s conflating her situation with Yasuda to your’s. “Hey, she’s a fool for leaving you. Don’t get me wrong, grief makes people do stupid things they wouldn’t necessarily do… but.. You didn’t betray her. You did nothing wrong. She simply walked away. And that might be what she needed… that doesn’t reflect on you, Jules. That reflects on her. You deserve all the love in the world. Someone who will see it through with you. Not that half-in half-out bullshit you usually settle for. She’s going through a lot and she made the choice to deal with that on her own and abandoned you in the process. That’s the facts of the situation. Focus on the facts, don't draw conclusions, especially ones that mess up your own self worth.”
Jules nodded her eyes tearing up again. “I just.. I feel so..”
You nod slowly. “Hurt?”
She nods and wipes at her eyes. “I thought… we could get through it together. I thought we had something. I just don’t want to think anymore. I shouldn't have ever gotten involved, I should have kept my head down.”
You sigh and pull her towards you by her ankle until her legs are across your lap and you hug her. “Don’t shame yourself. There’s no shame in… falling in love. You’re human.”
“I-I know, but…”
You shush her as she sniffles against your neck. “There is no but. You lead with your heart that was brave. Not stupid.”
Jules fell silent sniffling over the screams that echoed from your flatscreen. You held her together and kissed the top of her head and she leaned into you. She looked teary-eyed and dejected and you pouted, bringing a hand to her cheek. She leans into your touch and you clench your jaw as she gives you a certain look, her gaze darkening as she leans upwards her lips parting slightly. You rest your forehead against hers.
“Are you sure?”
She responds silently by bringing a soft hand to the back of your neck, her nails gently biting into the flesh there. You nod slowly and lean in to capture her lips. You stop just before they meet. “You won’t hate me for this?”
Jules pulls back to catch your eye. “Shut up.” She mumbled and captured your lips roughly with her own and you melted– kissing her back with a certain reservation. While she… she was rough with you because she knew you could handle it. Handle her. That’s what she wanted…to be handled. And handled well.
She bites down on your lip and straddles your lap as she forces her tongue into your mouth and you suck on it causing her to groan and pull away only to dive back in– her hands trailed over the lace of your bra and down your clenched abdomen.
You dragged your lips away from hers and along the edge of her jaw to catch your breath. You smirked and licked her pulse point sucking lightly before moving on. The brunette shrugged your jacket off her lithe frame and pulled her scrub top over her head.
You licked your lips as she cupped your cheeks before dragging your head forward so that your swollen lips grazed against the tops of her breast. You kissed the skin languidly feeling her heart pound under your lips as you reached behind her and unclasped her bra with one hand.
She chuckled as you smirked devilishly and pulled the straps down her arms until you were able to toss the constrictive garment aside. “You’re so smooth with that.”
“Practice makes perfect.” You mumbled before sucking one of her rosy pink nipples into your mouth laving your tongue over the peak as you massaged the other. She grinded down on your abs as your mouth world her eyes on your face as she pushed your hair out of your way.
You switched to her other breast as she grabbed your free hand and untied her scrub bottoms before shoving it inside. YOu moaned against her breast as you cupped her wet cunt over her panties before pushing them aside. She gasped as your fingers gently traced her clit.
You rubbed the bundle of nerves languidly trailing your fingers further until you could swipe some of the slick from her entrance up against her button. Jules' hips jerked and her head fell backwards. “Fuck. Please.”
You released her nipple–a string of your spit connecting you to her breast still. You cupped her jaw and dragged her lips back down to yours as you plunged a single finger into her entrance swirling it around. She moaned into your mouth her arms wrapped around your neck as you swirled your tongue over hers.
You nibbled her lower lip as you curled your finger. She pulled away with a whine– her clit dragging over the heel of your palm. You knew what she wanted before she even asked plunging a second finger inside her tight, wet heat. She groaned and let her forehead rest against your’s.
“Feel good?” You smirked as you dragged your fingers through her pussy rubbing against the textured patch just inside her entrance.
Her back arched as she whimpered and grinded her clit harder against your palm. She rolled her hips perfectly to ride your long fingers that reached deeper than anyone else ever could including herself. Her breath fanned against your face and smelled of pure whiskey–how intoxicating. She nodded mindlessly and you chuckled hotly.
“Yeah?”
“Fuck. Yes!” She cried as you scissored your fingers inside her.
You groaned as she tightened around your fingers, more wetness gushing into your palm. You fucked your fingers into her faster in response. You made sure to hook your fingers on every pull to drag against that spot that made her walls clench tighter every time. That spot that made her hold on your wrist tighten and that airy moan spew from her lips. Her face scrunched in pleasure.
“Right there?” You inquired though you knew the answer before she frantically nodded her head in desperation.
You smirked and scissored your fingers inside her. Feeling her walls tighten and her cunt gush in response. The brunette ground her clit against your palm letting out a growled mewl.
“There you go, take what you need.” You whispered and sucked her pink nipple back into your mouth as she rode your fingers frantically.
Jules whined and bounced on your fingers insistently canting her hips forward to rub her clit against your palm over and over. That's when you brought your other hand down and swiped at the bundle of nerves hastily, your fingers slipping on the sheer amount of slick.
You arched your hips up unconsciously seeking attention but remained focused as Jules' breath stuttered. The smell of whiskey filling your senses as she cupped your cheeks and brought your lips to hers her eyes rolling back as her back arched–-with a gush and a breathless whine she came hard all over your hands. Her eyes rolled back and her breath caught as you rubbed her clit and g-spot simultaneously as her walls seized.
The sounds spilling from her lips tasted of pure heaven on your tongue as you pulled away to gaze at her pleasure-overcome features. Her eyebrows drawn together her lips open her jaw tight. Her hips canted wildly chasing the euphoria you helped her achieve until it all came crashing down.
The brunette slackened in your arms. Her breath fanning against your neck, her mahogany tresses tickling your jaw and shoulder as you wiped her slick on her thigh before pulling your hand out of her pants and wrapping her in your arms holding her close. Silence befell the room, the credits of the movie playing in the background as she caught her breath.
Jules shuddered as she was hit with aftershock after aftershock. Her eyes welled up again as the euphoria faded and her reality came crashing back down on her. You heard her sniffle and instantly tightened your arms around her.
You held your breath as she began to sob into your neck. You kissed her shoulder as she cried well into the night, and you fell asleep with her curled up in your arms.

synopsis; you and elliot were best friends, and despite being flirtatious, there was never really anything going on between you two.. right?
Chapter 1: History class
junior year was rough. the new schedule adjustments, not knowing anyone in this new school, and being smart enough to not completely fail but also not smart enough to effortlessly pass all weighed down on you. you could get by being alone, but it was never easy. that was up until you met elliot.
“elliot, we have to finish this history project.” you advised. of course, you didn’t actually mean we. you always ended up carrying the weight of the work whenever you worked with him. normally, doing all the work in a group project would drive you up the wall. but whenever you got around elliot, you felt as if his presence was enough. you never pushed for anything more from him.
he was also your first best-friend, and you were his. nothing could compare to the nights you spent on the phone with him, whether you were doing algebra homework, or trying to pick out a dress for your first party, he was always there.
elliot took a pull from the blunt you both were smoking and it became infinitely hard for you to not stare. “y/n,” elliot started as he exhaled the smoke, “we have more than 2 weeks to finish this. and all we really have to do is copy what we wrote in our notebooks onto the poster board! it can’t be that difficult angel”
there was that nickname again. he’s used it plenty of times before now, but its weight never faltered because it always made you weak in the knees.
“but still, i’d like to finish this now so we have time for ourselves later,” you sighed, and in an attempt to hide your flustered face, you began copying down your notes to your poster.
“time for ourselves? what do you have in mind?” elliot teased as a sly smile appeared on his face, taking another hit from the blunt.
he didn’t know if the weed was making him bolder, or if it was the way the light from his window perfectly dawned on your relaxed figure, but elliot began to admire your features.
you were so soft with him, never making him feel smaller than you. always taking his feelings into consideration and looking out for him. even now, where you seem uptight, elliot couldn’t help but admire.
he couldn’t pinpoint just exactly what about you in this moment was enticing him like never before, but regardless of what it was, he couldn’t stop staring. and unbeknownst to elliot, you sensed him eyeing you down.
“y’know if you keep looking at me like that, i won’t get any work done.” you giggled, looking up at him.
“well that would be just terrible” he mused as he got up from his seat on the floor and moved closer to you on the bed to pass you the joint. he then held the blunt up to your lips and as you inhaled, you looked up at him. his eyes were low, red, and they never seemed to leave yours. he was so close, you were able to feel the warmth radiating off his body, and somehow, you never felt more comfortable.
his cool fingertips had just barely grazed your lips but that single, electrifying touch left you longing for more of him, and it took every ounce of strength you had to not ask.
after what felt like a century (but was just 6 seconds), he removed the blunt from in between your lips and watched you inhale the smoke, then exhale slowly. everything you did was hypnotic to him, and he couldn’t get enough.
the next day, you sat with jules and rue in the cafeteria. elliot decided to eat off campus for lunch, and you were glad that you hadn’t seen him all day yet. if you were being honest, you had been avoiding him all day.
you weren’t mad or upset at him by any means, but you just didn’t know what to say to him. i mean, what could you say? your relationship was always flirty, so why has it just hit you now?
“can i tell you guys something?” you blurted to your friends sitting across from you.
as you asked, you started to mindlessly scroll through you and elliot’s messages. you had never thought your feelings towards elliot were anything other than platonic up until a few weeks ago, and yesterday had only confirmed that you wanted him more than you’d like to admit.
“yeah sure, wassup?” rue asked, munching on her sandwich
“would you ever see me and elliot as.. you know,” you hesitated, “a thing? like together?”
“wait.. you guys aren’t ‘a thing?’” mocked jules. “i could've sworn you guys we’re together!?”
rue laughed to herself as she began to speak, “yeah i mean, you guys are always flirting with each other? i just assumed you guys were dating ‘nd just didn’t say.”
“you think so?” you questioned, fiddling with your well-manicured nails. you never saw anything between elliot and you until recently so there is no way that everyone else saw what you were so blind to.. right?
“yes, y/n, oh my god! i can’t believe you guys aren’t already dating!” jules exclaimed while giggling with rue. “i never want to hang out with the two of you alone because i feel like a third wheel!”
you were utterly surprised by the words that were coming out of your best friend's mouths. there was no way other people could see you guys together. there was no way they truly thought that.
you made a face as if all the gears in your head were turning, and in all honesty, they were. they were working their hardest as you started thinking that if everyone sees you both as a couple, that would have to mean he shows some sort of romantic feelings for you, right? he has to have looked at you in some way or said something to make everyone think you guys went out, right?!
“wait so you think he likes me too?” you excitedly asked.
“if his goo-goo eyes everytime you walk in weren’t a dead giveaway to how he feels, you should know he speaks about you every second of the day..” jules confessed, “whenever he starts telling me pointless ass stories about things you’ve guys have done together, i honestly just zone out.”
“how haven’t you noticed any of this? it’s so stupidly obvious, it’s not even funny” rue mumbled with a mouth full of food.
“i don’t know?! i just never thought of him — or us like that!” you said, laughing exasperatedly.
“probably ‘cause she’s in love too!” jules teasingly exclaimed. you knew she was joking, but for as long as you’ve known him, all you ever wanted to do was spend all day with him. he always showered you with attention and quality time. and even if he didn’t, you’d still drop everything to be with him. there was never any words or actions that needed to be spoken or done between the two of you in order for you to feel appreciated and loved.
loved. you would never bat an eye if you used that word to describe your relationship with him before.
“you guys should just get together,” rue said, crashing your train of thought as she gathered her stuff for her next class, “you're both ‘best friends’ already so nothing would have to change, right?”
you didn’t respond.
on one hand, it seemed like there was absolutely nothing to lose. apparently, he’s given multiple signs that he likes you so why not? why couldn’t you shake the feeling that everything would change?
“y/n, you don't have to make a decision right now, but remember that elliot would never do anything to make whatever you guys have going on weird. he genuinely cares,” jules reaffirmed, standing up from the table.
“thanks jules, but i honestly don’t think i’m gonna ‘make a decision.’ i just want to let things work themselves out so i don’t have to” you said, getting you things and going to your history class.
walking into your class, you immediately sensed elliot was there, despite him being sat in the far back. you didn’t really know what to say after that night in his room, on top of the bombshell rue and jules had just dropped on you.
as you walked into the class, you tried to scan for an empty seat that wasn’t the seat next to him. normally, you’d sit there with no hesitation, but you hadn’t prepared yourself enough to have the conversation that so desperately needs to be held.
fuck. you thought as you saw there were no more empty seats, annoyance written on your face.
you made your way to the desk nexts his and tried your hardest to avoid any unnecessary eye contact.
skipping this class would’ve been easier than enduring 45 minutes next to someone you’re trying your hardest to steer clear of but some shit just can’t be helped.
as you sat down and the lesson began, everything seemed to be going well except for the watchful pair of eyes that followed your every move.
you felt them as you picked up your pencil to jot down notes, as you took a sip from your water bottle, to when you opened your phone. you felt your energy being snuffed by his piercing gaze.
“maybe if i just ignore him he’ll stop.” you hoped to yourself.
15 minutes had gone by and he has not stopped once. you couldn’t figure out if he was doing it on purpose to make you freak out or if he was just that nosey but you finally had enough.
“don’t stare, it’s rude.” you seethed silently, looking at him for the first time since class started
“oh you decided you want to talk to me now? to what do i owe the honor” elliot haphazardly taunted.
“damn he noticed i was ignoring him” you thought to yourself.
“only ‘cause you’ve been staring at me for the past like, 15 minutes?”
“only ‘cause you’ve been ignoring me all day.”
“i haven’t been ignoring you?” lie 1.
“you haven’t?”
“no” lie 2.
“so why haven’t you said a word to me like, all day?”
“we just have nothing to speak about” lie 3.
“you sure? cause i heard something completely different from jules”
of course.
of course she was the reason you got caught in your lies. you internally laughed to yourself and left a mental note to never trust jules with anything even mildly important again.
but on the bright side, thank god he stopped interrogating you or else your conscience would’ve started eating you alive to feed all those lies you were spouting. i guess in an odd way, you’d be able to thank jules for saving your conscience. or maybe not.
“oh really?” you smirked “what did jules tell you then?” you couldn’t let your facade fall. you knew how to work your way out of shit, even if jules mucked up your oh-so-amazing plan.
“not much” elliot replied, “she just told me you had something to say to me”
you sighed to yourself. you could either keep playing this game of avoiding talking about your situation-ship, or come clean and possibly ruin what you both have.
you know that there’s a chance that he wants you back. but why ruin what you both have right now? it’s like when you’re doing your eyebrows and they’re absolutely perfect, but you keep plucking at them to make them even better, and before you know it, you end up over plucking and now have 2 uneven brows!
why ruin what’s already been so good to you? you’re both fine with what you were.
“well she was wrong,” you finally said. “do you have anything to say to me?” a tinge of hopefulness written in that question.
after a few seconds of silence, he replied,
“no.”
see, you knew you shouldn’t have pushed it. everything could’ve been gone in a matter of seconds.
“cool.” you uttered.
you picked up a blackberry from the bowl of fruit you were snacking on and ate it while retelling maddy and cassie everything that happened in history yesterday.
“cool?” maddy repeated “why the fuck would you say cool y/n?”
“yeah you’re giving him mixed signals” cassie chimed in.
“i honestly didn’t know what else to say like, i knew if i said anything more, i could ruin 3 years worth of friendship.”
“yeah but by not saying anything you could’ve ruined 3 years worth of friendship” sighed cassie “if one day you guys were hotboxing in his room getting close, and the next you’re giving him the cold shoulder, what’s he supposed to think?”
“it’s not like he wanted to speak about it though so why should i be the one that has to?” you asked, popping a mango cube in your mouth.
“so you want him to come to you?” maddy questioned, “i’m confused why you’re even stuck over him anyway. if you’re not dating why is your relationship this stressful? take advantage of you’re stress-free, single life girl!”
“maybe you’re right about that, i mean, if we’re not together why am i even overthinking this?” you giggled, sitting up from your bed.
“no yeah, don’t stress over shit like this. if you want him to make the first move and he doesn’t, just stay friends and find someone else” maddy suggested.
just as maddy said that, a notification popped up on your phone.

Rue and Elliot were close, there was no doubt about it. They spent a lot of time together and they shared a lot of the same interests, that's what bothered Jules so much.
You were there the day that Elliot and Jules met for the first time, it was super awkward. There was a lot of tension and it was very obvious that Jules was upset about them being friends. You followed her into the bathroom and comforted her about the whole situation. You did feel bad, but you also felt like she was being a little dramatic.
Rue and Jules had gotten into a few arguments about Elliot, you were the first person to hear about it from both sides. Given you had been friends with Rue since you two were infants and friends with Jules since she moved to East Highland.
The three of you were sitting above a bridge, all of your legs dangling off the side. You weren't really paying attention to the conversation they were having, you caught a few things about Rue and Elliot fucking, him and jules not getting along, and weed.
“y/n, dont you think Elliot wants to fuck Rue?” Jules' soft voice suddenly filled your ears, you looked at both of them, their eyes boring into yours. You shrugged and looked down at your feet,
“Depends, he wants to fuck everyone.” Rue chuckled and bumped her shoulder with yours. You leaned over a bit to take a look at Jules, a pout on her face as she looked into the distance.
“Jules, I promise you theres no way he wants to fuck me, no way.” you giggled at your friends and shook your head.
Jules turned on a table lamp and shined it in Elliot's face, he backed away from the sudden light and gave her a confused look.
“Do you wanna fuck Rue?” he looked over at Rue who was sitting on his bed, your head in her lap as you played with the knick knacks Elliot had in his room. “Not no,”
“So youre gay?” Jules quizzed him. “Kinda,” he shrugged with an unimpressed look on his face, “So you're straight?” he shrugged again, “Kinda?” Elliot had never really put much thought into his sexuality, he liked what he liked.
“So you're bi?” He made eye contact with Jules with squinted eyes, “I don't really think of it that way.” Jules rolled her eyes and continued to interrogate the boy. “What do you mean? Like, you've never thought about your sexuality before?” Elliot pondered before answering,“Not in a particularly rigid way, no.”
In all honesty your attention span was that of a goldfish. Your mind could go from one topic to another in seconds, you had found a pair of sunglasses on a shelf near Elliot's bed and wore them as you looked up at Rue. Elliot asked a question about Rue and Jules fucking, or about him fucking them. You didn't know, you were too infatuated with the statue of a naked lady he had on his window sill. You only started paying any mind to the conversation when Rue piped up, she hadn't spoken the entire time and neither have you.
“Yeah, why did you dodge the question?” Rue seemed puzzled, why wouldnt Jules tell Elliot if they’ve had sex before, theyre dating?
Jules inhaled deeply before going to ask Elliot another question, you turned your head towards them, finally deciding to pay attention since you were getting bored. Elliot locked eyes with you and smirked before averting his attention back to Jules.
“How many girls have you fucked?” You wondered why Jules asked him all of these questions, you weren't even really sure why you were here in the first place.
“Like, technically three.” He hesitated a bit, almost as if he wasn't too sure of his own answer. The girls he was talking about were the ones he could remember off the top of his head. He had way more than 3 bodies. He busted a nut in the first girl within seconds, the second girl was a girl he met at a party and gotten some head from, and the third girl was his ‘girlfriend’.
“Technically?” Jules asks, “I mean technically, the first girl, it was, like, two seconds. It was embarrassing. She probably wouldn't count it.” He said looking off to the side, “she would not count it.” Jules looked off to the side to process what he had just said, she shook her head and continued with the interrogation.
“Okay, uh how many guys have you fucked?” Jules urged. “43.”
Jules raised an eyebrow at him, her eyes wide. “Are you serious?” you giggled a little too loud, the three of them looked at you, you haven't made a sound the entire time that you were there. Rue looks down at you with a small smile on her face, “What’re laughing at?” you giggled again. “Elly’s a whore.” You knew he was joking, but you also knew he was very sexually active. Rue snickered while Elliot had his mouth open and a scoff fell out.
“Oh yeah?” He challenged, “How many guys have you fucked? Hm?” you rolled your eyes at him and held up the number five, “Bitch.” He let out a dry laugh and looked back at you, “Oh wow! That’s like a mentally ill amount of people to fuck, who’s really the whore.” You flipped him off and closed your eyes, you snuggled into Rues lap and pulled a throw blanket Elliot had on his bed over your shoulders. You were already tired when you three had gotten to his house, a little nap wouldn't hurt.
The rest of their conversation played out, you felt yourself falling asleep until you heard your name again.
“I didnt say that I didnt wanna fuck you or them,” them meaning you and Rue. Elliot seemed to be getting frustrated with the ongoing questions about him and sex with the four of you.
“So you wanna fuck Jules and y/n?” Rue quipped, you head butt her stomach and she smacked the side of your head with the back of her hand.
Elliot had a look of disbelief on his face,
“You guys are disgusting, Im not out here swinging my muff around waiting to see who fucks it.” you giggled again, “You should, because I would totally-” You were cut off by a cough coming from Rue. Oh fuck, did you say that out loud? Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. Rue had cut you off because she knew about your feelings for Elliot, the romantic ones and the sexual ones, very, very sexual feelings. She also knew that you were the kind of person who does before they think, the words exited your mouth before you even processed what you were saying. Jules looked at you with a dropped jaw and wide eyes, Elliot looked at you with a smirk on his face and his eyes on yours, Rue pretended not to be paying attention, but a few snickers that she passed off as coughs came out of her mouth.
You felt yourself get warm, you were a fucking idiot. You turned so your face was facing away from Elliot and in Rue’s stomach. She did you the favor of covering your entire body with the throw blanket. You closed your eyes and tried your best to forget about what had just happened.
You wanted to fucking die.
“The whores want to fuck each other? no surpise there.”
You buried your face even deeper into her stomach and whined out of embarrassment. You loved Rue with your entire heart, but God, you wish she’d shut the hell up sometimes.

MASTERLIST.
Elliot couldn't feel guilty about falling in love with his best friend, after knowing each other for two years and spending almost every day together, it was inevitable She was that feeling that allowed him to stay alive, he wanted to be a person who deserves his love, although it will sound cliché and he knew that friends shouldn't long for each other so much, or sleep so close together but elliot kept every memory with her.
Perhaps iif he didn't make the mistakes he made , and if he had not been carried away by the strong emotion known as anger, he might have had a future with her.
And maybe he wouldn't be heartbroken right now.
a week ago, Jules found out that Rue not only lied to her but also went back to drugs was a bad day for everyone. especially for elliot and y/n, who were part of the collateral damage that rue didn't see coming.
There were only three people in that laundry room at the new year's party. Rue, Elliot and y/n. They both promised to keep it a secret that Rue was still using drugs. But somehow Jules found out and Rue was too stoned to control her actions and her words.
" how the hell do you want me to act if my girlfriend wants to break up with me because one of you opened your mouth, and I'm sure it was you" yelled rue at y/n who silently scoffed, elliot on the other hand knew of his innocence but wasn't entirely sure about y/n's because he knew how much she hated the repetitive manner of rue's consummation. "You can scoff, but it's true. Y/n, i don't need you to worry about me, if you want to play mom with elliot that's your thing but don't mess with my relationship with jules"
Y/n couldn't believe what she was hearing, and it bothered her more that elliot didn't defend her.
" RueI couldn't care less about your relationship with Jules, you junkie bitch, so instead of assuming that I talked to Jules, you better get busy trying to fix the relationship that you only hurt." y/n prayed that rue didn't try to get close to her because the urge to hit her increased by the second.
Rue rolled her eyes and looked at elliot to defend her, but elliot just looked to the side clearly not wanting to be part of the argument. " you know what, fuck both of you"
Rue left Elliot's house muttering insults and trying not to fall into a frenzy. While y/n sat next to elliot on the bed, overwhelmed by the situation that rue put her in. And elliot made the first mistake that would lead to his broken heart.
" you know you can be honest with me, did you talk to jules?" elliot regretted asking that, but he knew it was too late and the damage had already been done.
y/n stood up and looked in disbelief at elliot, who couldn't look her in the eye. "It's one thing for Rue to mistrust me, but you Elliot? do you really think i would do something like that?. After knowing each other for so long, I thought there was no need to tell you that I didn't do it."
and y/n felt how her chest closed in anguish, how her eyes began to burn from holding back the tears that wanted to fall on her cheeks, and elliot wanted to hit himself for causing his best friend that bitterness.
" Look, I don't know why I said that, but it was just a question. I don't know why you get so defensive " and that's when the second mistake occurred, that sentence made her sadness turn into anger.
" just a question?. I see, so I'll just ask you one question too, did you tell Jules that Rue relapsed again because you have a crush on Rue? " she knew that the question had malice in it , but what elliot didn't know was that that question was also tainted with y/n's insecurity.
y/n was also going to have her heart broken after this fight, but it was for a different reason than Elliot thought. It was not only the pain of believing that her best friend did not trust her, it was accompanied by something else.
intrusive thoughts, that they reminded her daily that elliot could never fall in love with her, that it was safer that he felt attracted to rue by sharing his drug addiction, she could never match that feeling.
" what the fuck? where do you get that i have a crush on rue?" elliot was beginning to get annoyed, each word that came out of the other's mouth brought them closer to their end.
" don't try to deny it, even jules knows you want to fuck rue, so avoid pretending to be innocent" y/n knew that wasn't entirely true, but she can't help but say it.
" pretend to be innocent? you have no right to say something like that, you know that cassie is fucking nate and you don't tell maddy, what kind of friend are you hiding something like that?" y/n and elliot knew that there was no turning back, but elliot decided to seal the end of their relationship by saying "you hide the truth from one and tell the truth to another to try to clear your conscience"
Elliot could swear he saw her heart break through her misty eyes. This time she could not hold back her tears, and decided that she had nothing more to say because Elliot already made it clear what kind of person he thought she was.
she ran home, and he didn't follow her or try to stop her.
coming back to the present, y/n was trying to go about her daily life without elliot by her side, going out with the girls to buy clothes and trying to clear her mind.
" y/n it's not the end of the world, elliot's not the only boy in the world plus we're in the prime of our adolescence so bitch let's buy you some clothes and you're going to be a bad bitch again" said maddy dragging her car to go shopping.
But for elliot, from the day of the fight his days were getting slower and sadder.
It had been that Jules found out that Rue was still taking drugs thanks to Ali, a rehab member where rue attended.
" I'm really sorry that rue has done so much damage with this" jules said on one of her visits to elliot, whom she no longer resented since he told her his true feelings towards her former best friend.
" I don't know what to do, I really screwed up and I don't know if she's going to forgive me." elliot looked at his guitar, it didn't even call him to compose something since he could only concentrate on the emptiness in his chest.
" If I were you, I would go apologize and tell her the truth about your feelings. She thinks you like rue so obviously you have to clear that up." jules watched as elliot thought about what he said, deciding if it was for the best.
"and what would happen if she doesn't reciprocate my feelings" Elliot murmured running a hand through his hair.
"Well, it's not like you can ruin your friendship more." said jules amused, to which elliot rolled his eyes. "sorry, bad joke. Look elliot, if she says she doesn't like you, which I doubt she will, you'll have to accept it and move on, wouldn't you rather have her even as a friend than not have her at all? "
that was two days ago, and elliot knew jules was right so he decided to buy a bouquet of y/n's favorite flowers and went to her house. Elliot knew that at this time her parents were still working, so it meant that she was alone at home. He mustered up her courage and rang the doorbell, a moment later y/n opened the door and his heart began to beat faster.
" What are you doing here?" she asked looking at the flowers in his hands, and couldn't help but feel the tingling in her chest.
" I came to apologize, they are for you" said elliot offering her the flowers which she did not accept, he crossed his arms and kept looking at him hoping for a better apology. "I know I said things out of place and hurt your feelings, I should never have said things so out of place and I know that you would never betray Rue and that there shouldn't be someone in this town who is as good a person as you. And i know you're having a hard time because of maddy, not knowing what to do"
God, y/n she hated being so weak for elliot, hated him for having her in the palm of his hand and not realizing it.
"and what about rue?" y/n still wasn't accepting the flowers but elliot noticed she wasn't so defensive anymore .
" I don't like rue and I don't want to fuck her, god y/n, I like you since we met but I never wanted to ruin our friendship with unrequited feelings, in the end I ruined our friendship with a misunderstanding." Elliot swore his heart was beating at an abnormal rate.
y/n was speechless, she lost count of the times she dreamed that elliot would confess something like that, but the wound was still open and needed time to heal.
y/n finally accepted the flowers, and smiled, though elliot could feel the sadness not leaving her eyes and braced himself for her to break his heart again. But no matter how many times she broke his heart, when he puts it back together it will still beat for her.
" I like you too Elliot, you have no idea how much control you have over me, but you still can't expect us to go back to the way we were before. I need some time, but I accept your apologies and I also offer mine." y/n stood on tiptoe and kissed elliot's cheek, that kiss promised a future together but in the present they should remain apart.
" I'll wait as long as you need, and I accept your apology. I guess I'll see you at school." Elliot kissed her knuckles and pulled away from her, even as every cell in his body just wanted to be in contact with her body.
"see you later" y/n closed the door of her house, and hugged the flowers as she felt her cheeks get drenched.
This time she didn't know if it was happiness or sadness, but she was sure that every piece of her broken heart belonged to elliot.
