B/L!fandomfriendly aka Juleap event final results
July is officially over in all the time zones, I believe, which means it's time to wrap up the event. We got written works, drawn works and video edited works, so the full spectrum. The fandom rose to the occassion. We should make July the Juleap month permanently :-)

I come to raise your standards. 📈
Long story short, this was supposed to be finished for Mérante's 197th birthday (his 2nd Centenary is about to fulfill in three years) but I panicked with the chin and head's position and I left it for later. I decided to retake it now that Juleap, the Ballerina/Leap! fandom friendly event is about to end. Some things are all over the place, but I'm very proud how I overcame my fears and finished it. 💪🏻
My purpose was to explore how would the movie version would look like with his real look, only a mustache instead of a full beard. Just as I suspected, very distinguishable and fancy. (He kinda looks like any person's average Belle Époque ancestor. 🤭)
Made in IbisPaint X and finished at July 31 of 2025. The background tapestry is part of the background options in the app, I didn't design it.
Time of making: 124 minutes aprox.
Points per character: 62 points.

This is, unfortunately, my last entry for Juleap. I was expecting to do a couple of entries more, but, as we say in México: "No me da la vida." Which practically can be translated to "My life isn't long enough to do stuff."
This fanart was intended for July 23, which is Mérante's birth anniversary, since he was born on that same date on 1828 (Yes, he was a real figure!). I took as a reference a portrait that's shared on his biography on the Official page of the Opera Garnier.
Huh, a bit of French culture in the context of the Paris Olympics Games...

Yummy!
Another one...😐! (Sorry, I'm just flooding with Leap! contents)
Odette made a delicious soup for Félicie. Little Miss Milliner liked it so much that she slurped it straight from the bowl, setting aside her spoon!
Time taken: 148 minutes
My second entry for the Juleap event on Tumblr! I kinda got inspired to keep doing watercolor paintings, this time with Camille. I wanted hers to be very contrasting with Félicie's. The redheaded girl's was full of life, nature, color. In this one, I decided to use lighter and cold tones, and the only background in here is a white courtain from which the lights filters into the room. Of course, given to the lack of objects, it took me less time to paint. And it's not like I love to draw her suffering, on the contrary, this hurt me to draw, but I wanted to explore that melancholic, troubled and lost nature she has beneath her easygoing appearance.
