Recently, I decided to give TADC a shot and I loved it! Not the drama that surrounds it nor the one within the fandom, tho, but I still can enjoy the series and the good stuff it has to offer. I wanted to draw the main cast for a while after watching episode 9, but, y'know, school had me with its hand on my throat snd didn't let me go free until end of the semester. But now I'm on vacation and free to draw as I like! It was really fun to do my usual semi-realistic style along with trying the more cartoony, wacky one, it was a great challenge to take! 😊
🎀 Here's the friend we all need in our lives, Suzie J. Ackerman with her avatar Ragatha. I honestly related to her a lot since the pilot. She's always trying her best and her most for everyone to feel safe and comfortable around her and as a result, she struggles a lot with people pleasing tendencies, such as myself. I find it sad that there are haters of her... and that's exactly a sad thing that happens in real life. People pleasers get to a breaking point and others blame them for suddenly establishing boundaries. I mean, yeah, we need to learn to establish them earlier but is so easy to say rather than to put in practice. More when you have a trauma that holds you to take the risk of being hurt only for saying "no." I'm glad that Ragatha found a way to keep being generous without allowing anyone to step over her again. 💗
