A top flight DJ known for throwing large hip hop influenced parties, J Reed has always had a desire to not only make music for fans, but to establish his presence and presentation. Although hip hop is his passion, many of his mixes feature sounds ranging from across the world. After starting the Now U-Kno Movement, he soon found himself working with artists the from across hip hop styles and sounds, from Rick Ross to Akon, T-Pain to Jadakiss, and DJ Khaled to Lil’ Jon.

 If that's not enough, Reed has begun his ascension into the reach new audiences, establishing himself as MC. His single “Awe Yeah” blares a classic mixture of soul sample and a hard drum pattern, which allows Reed to rhyme about the glories of lyricism without falling into the pit of braggadocios content.
