I only did the commanders with Whitey and Tate. I did think about putting Oden, Toki and the some of the spade pirates on it but decided not.

A mellifluous swathe of chill indie house and incandescent pop brightens our evening, courtesy of Seattle dance producer Joza and Silicon Valley singer songwriter Anja Kotar, the latter whom we just recently discovered via her cleverly biting, sun-dappled pop single Kids (featured, here). Superficial Love is a warm buoyant balm of a peppy bounding bop with bittersweet aching lyrics. The house pop track is about finding superficial love on the dance floor. It’s your choice whether to dance or cry to this one, or both at the same time. But I’m prancing around in beaming joy, superficial love in the stars or not.
