14 - Phospher. This one sounded really interesting
14. Would they agree with the termĀ āguilty pleasureā? Do they have any?
He's lived a long life, he's fully aware there's some things you just can't help but indulge in, even if it's something you know you shouldn't be doing. At first him using his Control to get whatever he wanted from people was a little bit of a guilty pleasure, but the longer he had his powers the less it felt like an indulgence and more like something he just Does. No guilt there anymore <3
Phospher's real guilty pleasure, though? Killing people. It's usually way too dangerous to do because he can't cover up the disappearance of an entire person very easily, so if someone learns too much it's better to just wipe their memory and send them on their merry way.
But sometimes it becomes clear he's run into a very rare set of people that aren't effected by his powers and then, well, what else is he supposed to do? He pretends so often that he's this harmless (if a little pompous) public figure, it's really really satisfying to see the fear in people's eyes when he can finally drop all his facades, act as animalistic as he is, and show them just how powerful he can be.
But then there's the cleanup and all the hassle of coming up with an alibi and really, it's just too much of an inconvenience. But he can't help but enjoy it when the opportunity arises
