is there a snappy term for when two characters are using sex to punish themselves and apologize to the other character but also hurt the other character a little and then hate themselves for wanting that, thus "justifying" the self-punishment? because that's what this is. mutual flagellation or something

the fourth (probably-final) part of my post-canon jowd/yomiel series is up! it's very tonally different from the rest, a lot sweeter after they've had time to work through things :') could work as a standalone fic if you don't feel like reading the 20k words of inner turmoil and teary prison sex that preceded it... though there's still a fair amount of inner turmoil in this one too lmao. peace and love <3
