Briatore in the epstein files

People have completely forgotten about SB2 betrayal and that explains some of her pains during lockdown and Folklore & Evermore. I think it took her a bit to figure out to leave Joe and get rid of him, which she did. She dropped him like some guy who didn't deliver he was, and moved on with her life. Woot! May we all be so lucky.
I don't relate to your joy here. I don't hope we're all so lucky, as someone whose long term ex partner wouldn't deliver. I hope everyone is lucky enough to not experience the hell of marriage and (for taylor kids for me buying a house) dangled in front of them by a partner who isn't committed to it. I'm sure it took time to see that he wasn't going to step up and the relationship was about him. it's hard to notice that in the moment and even harder to walk away.
that said, yeah people ignoring the masters situation when talking folklore... like literally mtr is confirmed by taylor, but I've seen someone say "we just listened to this heartbreaking song of divorce as if it was about scott like wow" and like IT WAS ABOUT SCOTT!!! her breakup with joe didn't go back in time and change mtr. she wrote it about scott borchetta. that is not up for debate!

People make things up about Joe. Taylor never even mentioned in the two songs about and aimed at Joe post break up. (So long london and how did it end?) At least hate him for the reasons she gives which are cold feet about wedding and possibly being a drag to be around. I find it tragic enough falling out of love with someone who got you through things!
I think a lot more of ttpd is about joe than you do because I think most of ttpd is about both Matty and Joe. oven vs microwave and all.
That said, yeah it's a pretty clear story of a deeply depressed man who kept moving the goal posts of commitment in a way that made taylor feel inadequate. and that IS heartbreaking and it IS hard. I believe that one of the ways the goal posts were moved was "i want to be in x place in my career before we get married and have kids" and that "you are in such a good place in your career which is why you feel like this is not as important as I do" was a part of that for him and I believe it's very easy to go from that to "i wish you'd stop having so much success so my career can breathe because yours sucks all the air out of the room." and that is..... exactly..... what his team said in the early days of the breakup. So I fully believe that is what people are picking up on because it was absolutely a part of this...
but it's a big leap from that to "if you want me to marry you, you have to quit music" which is what people are SAYING happened based on *squints* a vibe they got from an answer to a radio interview about travis in addition to "baby boy" in father figure.
and I just think either we're going to talk about what's here in terms of career resentment from Joe.. or we're going to write "i hate joe alwyn" fanfiction and like.... why would we do that?
i still think a lot of this fandom got their heart broke by jover and are still lashing out because they never fully processed that joe was just.... not committed the way we (including taylor) thought he was.
long term love is a choice that you chose every day. When it's hard, you choose to adjust so that you and the person you are with are both represented and that includes being open and honest about your needs and willing to accept help to grow and change. Joe was not committed enough to make those choices when they were not easy.
And that doesn't mean he's a monster or tried to hurt her... it just means that when the push came to shove, he expected her to come to him instead of meeting in the middle. and that is, like it or not, what happened. And "quit music if you want me to marry you" is possible but imo a huge leap. especially when it's more likely that was an unspoken underlying thing to his moved goal post if it is real.. and that's a big if.. rather than explicitly stated like that. but the fandom is treating that like we have confirmation from lyrics that he said that threat out loud. and like..... honestly it's really "go touch grass" imho
season two
Season two is a great continuation of the series. Sixteen amazing episodes (including one "wtf" episode (I'm looking at you, the diaper episode)). Songs, action, emotion, just a great season.
My favorite episode from this season is "Crimson and Clover," which is also my second favorite episode of the entire series. It holds a very special place in my heart because it was the first episode I watched of AHKJ (don't ask how I did it). A great introduction to Crimson and her relationship with Clover, and it was one of the few Clover-centric episodes.
Jover is also strong in this episode.
everyone be nice to me... i just had to delete my very Awesome art because i noticed a COLORING ERROR
