october sixteenth
why yes, iāve grown to quite hate my handwriting, thank you.Ā
finals are finally done, so i took this opportunity to relieve stress and write self-indulgent entries again. now the worst part has begun- waiting for results. iāve received a few of my scores already and iām admittedly not satisfied with all of them, so hereās to the hope of better grades ahead.Ā

Brandi Carlile was so so good. she had such a dynamic stage presence, she was like jumping around and always smiling and you could just tell how thrilled she was to be there (she knows it was showing too, she was like ācan you tell this is the happiest iāve ever been in my lifeā). she said sheād wanted to play Massey Hall as long as sheās been playing Toronto and it was a literal dream come true for her. they came around in front of the mics to play The Eye totally unplugged becauseĀ āa space like this has its own voiceā and it was BEAUTIFUL.Ā
also in the preamble to The Mother she told very cute stories about her 4-year-old vs the concept of death, then when she was saying she wrote it because all you ever hear from other parents before becoming a parent is how amazing it is she was likeĀ āitās all the straight people! theyāre tryna get us!ā
