I have to say that there's something so admirable in Granada Sherlock's first episode being "A Scandal in Bohemia" and not "A Study in Scarlet".
Who cares how they've met and got to be where they are?

Can't decide what flavour of fics with Mycroft I like more. Him having a good deep conversation with Sherlock and being surprised that his brilliant brother cannot see that Watson is in love with him.
Or Mycroft calling Watson for a private meeting to discuss his future with Sherlock l, because his brother wouldn't find all those necessary precautions important enough. And Watson stopping him to explain that no he in fact does not fuck his younger brother. And has not been doing that for the last five years. And Mycroft just going "Why how silly of you, my dear fellow, please go home and change that"

The lovely @pipity commisioned a continueation of a fic that had been on hiatus for three years, terrible, that while i had tried, multiple times to finish it, i couldn't for so many years and then managed it in a couple of days, welp, writers block is a bitch.
So here is chapter 7 of I'll pull the trigger with my eyes close
excerpt: “Jon?” Sherlock gasped awake, almost falling forward in his seat, but strong hands caught him.
“Easy, Sherry.”
“Good lord, Jon.” He clutched at those hands.
But it was the doctor’s kind face that met his own. “You’re alright, merely dreams again. Take a deep breath for me, that’s a good lad. I must say, I’ve noticed your affinity to address me by my given name when you are in distress.” Watson removed the grimoire from Sherlock lap, which he had clearly been clutching hard enough that his hands were still pale from the restricted blood flow. He hadn’t been holding when he had fallen asleep. The case notes he had held were now on the floor.
“Oh, Watson? forgive me.”
“It wasn’t a complaint. We have been friends for a while, have we not?”
“Indeed, we have.” Sherlock rubbed his tired eyes and looked about the cabin. This was the fifth time he had woken himself up in the fairly short amount of time the train had been running.
“Night terrors seem to have their grip on you. Would you care to talk about what you see that gets you in such a state?”
“No.” Sherlock snapped instantly before softening. “I appreciate the concern, but no. I can scarcely remember the narrative the unconscious mind wove for me. Other than the impression of fear.”
