A military AU based on Jeeves and Wooster.

I don't pretend to be historically accurate, but I do have a couple of funny suggestions.

In the 20th century, the aristocracy actively recruited pilots, and Bertie was no exception. I gave him a military uniform of a soldier fighting in Libya (1942). He turned out to be a terrible pilot, and during the Battle of El Alamein, his plane was shot down, almost burning to death, but the local Papuans nursed the poor guy back to health.

With Jeeves, things are much simpler; from the very beginning, he proved himself a brave and resourceful fighter, and returned home with a lame leg and a bunch of medals. Perhaps he received a telegram informing him that Bertie had died in the battle of the same name (a popular headcanon in FD).
