The yelling could be heard throughout the home, surely the neighbors could hear it as well. Michael wasnt exactly filming a video, but the game he decided to play was pissing him off all the same. Lindsay was used to hearing the anger from him, but it was late and she was getting hungry. They had planned to go out and grab a bite, though she had to pry him away from the game first. Getting up from her spot at the kitchen table where she had been doing a bit of editing on her laptop, she walked to the living room and leaned against the doorframe. One reason she had fallen for him was his humor, and with the names he was spouting off at the television screen, she couldnt help but to snicker. She never got to his level of angry when she played, but she could have a temper sometimes.

Parents’ names, backgrounds, occupations:

Father: Elijah Jones. A second generation immigrant to Ireland, Elijah was a pureblood wizard, bred among the hierarchy that came along with such ideals, at least, from his cousins and his aunts and uncles. They weren’t as extreme as some of the other families, however, they were still a name, and even if they didn’t always execute power, they still enjoyed being pure for ancestry reasons, not truly power, though it was still a name associated with the trait. Was sorted into Ravenclaw in his years at Hogwarts, and is close to Hestia in terms of traits of creativity and quick-thinking, however, he simply valued these the most, while she kept close to trust and family. 

After he graduated, he already had a job waiting for him at the Ministry, an apartment in London, plans for a life and it was such plans that were slightly skewed once he decided to discover a bit more of England during a few weekends, and came across Clara’s hometown and her parent’s Inn, which he held a room, and as time would have it, he simply kept on returning whenever he could, booking a room, asking the innkeepers daughter for a date each time he returned, and each time, though she would always say yes, he became more creative in the ways he’d ask her. He never truly hid the fact that he was a wizard from her, like many do for years and years, rather, he told her a few dates before he meant to propose to her. With the marriage, instead of his wife simply changing her name, the two agreed to start their own family tree, one that was their own and untied by past history. He still works at the Ministry today, even as his wife began taking over her parent’s inn and lives in her hometown, often hiding his magic or that of his children when they were young was to say he was a magician, which they did believe as sometimes families booked him for shows.

Mother: Clara Jones. Born in England, though her eldest sisters were not, Clara is the daughter of two innkeepers, and were Muggles. Clara was an explorer of a girl, tending to accept something new and change as she wished to see where it would lead her, often working to discover the world around her, though she never actually moved from her hometown, however, she did have the sense of change and new as she was the only one of her nuclear family to be born in England and was given the name of the first person the family met in the new country. Since she was born, while she lived a quiet life, she refused to have nothing of something new each day, and there was one guest at the inn that brought this like no other, one that kept returning every other weekend for a room and the question for a date, and there was something a bit magical about him, just as there was about her. 

When Elijah told her what he was, she was impulsive in her acceptance of the news, wanting to know more, wanting to be in this new life, and this is what she got, a household of magical girls and dishes that could do themselves. Clara even would ask for books on the nature of the world, wanting to know his world as he was going to live in hers in her hometown. After some time, she and her sisters became the ones running their parents inn, which she was doing when her girls were born and is still the job she holds today, and though her daughters have moved across the world for their work or marriage, she does ask for constant updates, has their work posted throughout the house and clippings from the Daily Prophet on the refrigerator.

Sister: Clara Jones ( 30. Lives in France. )

Clara, named after their mother, was sorted into Ravenclaw, just as their father, was a strange mixture of them both, as unlike some of her sisters, she was a quiet girl, liking to take her time in what she wished to say, in how she liked to take on the world. She was already graduated by the time Hestia started Hogwarts, and already married by Hestia’s second year to a Londoner named Carter Burke at 22, which was a marriage that lasted about a year as it was a rushed ceremony, which was his idea and not her own. After this, she went on for something beyond her hometown for once in her life, and found in France, moving to live in France at 23, working multiple jobs through these first years in the magical world, until she ended up with a stable job at their own version of Ministry of Magic.

Sister: Eleanora Jones ( 27. Lives in America. )

Eleanora, named after a good friend of their mother, was the shock of the family when she was sorted into Slytherin as she was such a peaceful girl, though she was the most ambitious of the sisters growing up and also the family talent with magic, seeming to have mastered the art by the time of her fifth year and the one that had the most control over her own magic as a child. The loudest of the girls, she enjoyed putting on a show, being a performance, her room held with posters of musicals rather than Quidditch teams. She graduated a few months before Hestia was meant to join Hogwarts, though stayed home for those first few years of Hestia’s school year, where she worked in small theaters in London, which is also the place she met an witch visiting from New York, Georgette Miles that she would later marry and follow to America at the age of 25, dating her for years before commitment, knowing how Clara’s marriage turned out.

Sister: Dinah Jones ( 25. Lives in Wales. )

Dinah, named after her one of the girl’s godmothers, followed her father as well after being sorted into Ravenclaw and a planner of a girl, her life spread out before her by the time she was five, though she had edited the ideas, they always remained the same. She’s been planning a career, her wedding, her children’s appearance and names, her future home all since she was a child, and could often forget about the present world as she was only lost in the future. However, she could be brought back to earth if the time called for it or mostly when her mother had to remind her that the present mattered too as she tended to rush into adulthood, especially as she married her sixth and seventh year boyfriend a few months after graduation, Seamus Wright and moved in with him at Wales where she is a painter. 

Sister: Jemima Jones ( 23. Lives in Ireland. )

Jemima, named after another good friend of the family, she too was sorted into Ravenclaw, and was also the closest to Hestia simply as they were the closest in age and it was Jem Hestia ran towards during the turmoil that was her transition to Hogwarts, those first weeks spent crying as she missed home and not understanding why she couldn’t stay with Dinah and Jemima or that they couldn’t stay be with her most of the day. The most competitive and athletic of the sisters, she fell quickly into a life of Quidditch and as a keeper on the Ravenclaw team, beginning in her second year and captain by her last. While she does dream on playing professionally, she never seemed to make the cut, however, even years after her graduation, she still works on auditions and anyway she can to join a team, still practicing and playing for smaller leagues. However, this dream was put on hold after a friend who graduated the same year as Dinah came to her with a business plan, except she’d have to move to Ireland to help her with the idea, and she did.
