A Benefit Concert for Experience Ayiti... WHAT: Labor Day Celebration continues at the Cutting Room on Saturday, September 9,2017. Join us for a "Carnival inspired" themed evening, with NWAYO Live featuring vocalist -Pauline Jean; Axel Laugart (piano); Godwin Louis (alto sax); Jean Caze(trumpet); Jonathan M. Michel (bass); -Obed Calvaire (drums); Markus Schwartz (percussion) and surprise guests. WHY: This exclusive event benefits the Experience Ayiti organization. In December of last year, Pauline traveled with a group of fellow musicians to Haiti as part of the Experience Ayiti mission. Using music as a conduit to affect positive change, the group provided aid, master classes, free concerts, and food/instrument distribution throughout different regions of Haiti.
