Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossof are going to be critical senators during the Biden administration. A huge part of why the last 10 years have been so unprecedentedly depressing is because of Moscow Mitch McConnell’s choke hold on the senate. Stripping him of the senate majority position will substantially weaken the republicans’ ability to stall legislation. The only way to do that is by getting Warnock AND Ossof into office.

After failure upon failure by Bush, Obama, and Trump, it’s hard not to feel cynical about what good Biden could do. But if we want him to have even a chance of making lasting change, retaking the senate is our best hope. I’m tired of living in a country where an entire branch of the government has completely abdicated its function to pass legislation.
