“I don’t think I’ll be able to stay out too late tonight.” Naoto hummed, staring into her coffee. Wrapping a hand around the cup’s handle, she opted to tap her fingertips against it instead of taking a sip. It was still hot-- she’d give it another minute or two. She lifted her gaze to offer her senpai a tight, almost guilty smile. “As much as I’d like to. I have a flight to catch first thing in the morning.”
She’d been quite vocal when she insisted on spending as much time as she could in Inaba-- whenever it was possible, she liked to work from home. However, much of her work left her with little choice. Such was the nature of her occupation. It was simply a fact she had to accept. Naoto was simply thankful to have a place she could call home to come back to. She felt she could almost relate to Yu in that way, though their circumstances were different.
“Speaking of which... when will you be returning to the city, Yu-senpai?”
