#jollin

It's been a rough time, all over the world. Things are changing, and not for the better, and that makes it hard to stay optimistic sometimes. But we can't make the world better alone. We can't fight back the darkness alone.

Through the cold and the dark, it is our friends who help us fight our way back to the light.

I have this group of (first attempt at chibi) mice from an older post that are hinted to be familiar with Jollin.

But then, I went and took the one out in front and started doing a redesign and art with him as an OC that knew Jollin when they were younger.

I even ended up writing him into one of my major fanfics as a oneshot background type character outside of Jollin (since the fanfic is about Geumsaegi and trying to be canon as possible).

As for the others? I feel like I already have a visible personality for all of them, at least. It wouldn’t necessarily be hard to give them their own backstories and figure out how they interacted with Jollin in the past on the Weasel owned farm.

I feel like he would wear brown the most, because that’s what the Weasels would allow the workers to wear because they were just going to get dirty anyway. So, that is what he is used to and what he is comfortable with, and anything else feels extravagant to him.

It was recommended that I should try putting him in blue, and he does look really good!

I have mentioned before that the weasel overseers would introduce Jollin to popular media franchises on occasion by accident or otherwise, like dressing him up as a joke when they were bored.

I feel like based on the card, I’ve finally made a picture of Jollin that I am really proud of that fits his character way better than I have been doing recently.
