"Hello, everyone! Sorry, it's been a while since my last video," he rubs the back of his neck a bit shyly. "Since Rosie has begun walking, it's been a lot busier around 221 B."

He points the camera at the flat, showing the hodgepodge of baby's toys and Sherlock's books and papers. "Tell me you live with two children without telling me you live with two children."

"I heard that," came the dry, unamused voice of Sherlock. "I put my chemicals on a higher shelf. I'm not a child, I listen."

"Yeah," John walks from the living area and into the kitchen where Sherlock is sitting behind his microscope. "Rosie still listens better than you."

"Give me one example," Sherlock leans away from his microscope and folds his arms expectantly.

"She goes down to bed when it's time for bed, with minimal whining," John begins. "She eats all of her vegetables, she lets me wipe her face when it's-"

"I let you wipe my face!"

"You thrash, Sherlock!"

"...Don't upload the video."

"Sherlock, it's live."

"..."

"Right, sorry," Sherlock whispers, spooning John and kissing the nape of his neck. "Apology accepted," John whispers back, snuggling into the embrace. And soon they're asleep again.

so after s4 John and Rosie moved back to the Baker street 221B

at first there is unresolved tension berween John a Sherlock but after maybe a year or so they finally got together   

first Rosie’s word is “John” (because Sherlock always forget to refer to John as “Dad”)

and then she just jump straight to  “You see but you do not observe” 

this is her literal second phrase 

Sherlock is proud 

not just because of this 

he is just the Proudest Dad™ ever 

his phone is so ful with pictures of her smiling with her one tooth, eating blueberry cake all her face smeared with it and other stuff like that

he reads her (he TRYES to read her books on forensics - because she will be the next consulting detective. Obviously, John - but John like “nope nope nope”, so Sherlock ask his mom for his childhood pirate and bee books)

so when Rosie is four and someone asks what she wants to be in the future she answer “bee-pirate” straight away

she also wears bee costume to her first costume party

and pirate one (which matches with John and Sherlock costumes) on the second

Johnlock roles as a dads are different tho

John is Dad 

they are close but she cannot tell him about her first crush for example (because he is John, honestly he can be ridiculously overprotected)

but she can obviously tell everything to Sherlock because sometimes he seems like an elder brother to her

tho he is overprotected too

when Rosie is just a baby and Sherlock and John are in the middle of the case he, considered how much time it will take to resolve the mystery, would call Mrs Hudson immediately to ask her to look after Rosie (even if he know that she would in any case)

John melts everytime
