#john wank

oohh, even before s4?

i think that’s a pretty unpopular opinion among most johnlockers, but i know of a handful of non-johnlockers and also casual viewers who share your view. one of my uni friends said they thought john was “just kinda there but nothing interesting” which was a surprise to me since he’s one of the main lead x’D since then i always wondered the same, like how many percent of the total viewer actually don’t like john. My sister said that john was quite a rude, selfish dick (based on s1 and 2) and she preferred James wilson (from House MD) over john

I’ve made my John anon so upset with my posts about John Trash Can Watson (that they have to come to my blog to find because they don’t show up in the tags, lol) that now they’re worried I’m going to mess up the characterizations of my own characters in my own story that I made up :) Don’t worry, anon! I promise you my characters are consistent and not anything like John Trash Can Watson :) And someday you’ll all get to read about them! 

It’s not that I just didn’t enjoy it - it’s that I loathed it! XD

The ending was the worst thing of all, fucked up in all the ways this is possible. 

But I also disliked the beginning, trippy and messy and hard to understand.

I hated the comic relief moments which were so unsuitable for this episode and made the characters look cartoonish. Everyone adored Mrs Hudson and her sports car, I say it’s simply ridiculous. As if things weren’t unrealistic enough already. 

I hated most of Sherlock / John’s interactions. I would handle John hitting Sherlock for blaming him for his daughter’s death or something bad like that. I don’t accept John abusing Sherlock just because he believed Culverton Smith instead of him. And I can’t accept that he stopped only when Culverton himself told him it was enough, can you imagine that?

AND I CAN’T ACCEPT HE NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR HITTING HIM LIKE THAT and Sherlock was like John is the best human being in the world and he can do whatever he likes with me. NO HE CAN’T. 

I hated the way Mary’s character was used - frankly, a beard for Johnlock and seemingly proud of it. I don’t want a beard for Johnlock - I want it all pure and clear. Dead Mary showing John’s romantic / affectionate thoughts about Sherlock, what shit is that? I have excused Moffat many times, but not in this one. NOT. 

Mary could simply NOT BE THERE. For her own character’s good. 

I didn’t like the hug either. A hug for all the wrong reasons. Not a hug about them, at least not textually. Not a hug about forgiveness for what has happened between them. Just Sherlock swallowing everything again and comforting John for cheating on his dead wife (pretty much for a double cheat on Sherlock, if you think about it). 

Bringing up Irene Adler in a stupid way, Lady Smallwood being horny for Mycroft, let’s forget everything about “Eurus”.

The only good thing in this episode was the bad guy! Yes, thumbs up for Culverton. Toby Jones was brilliant. That’s all.

[Talking of which, John’s fucking lucky. GREG knows what happened. Sherlock could have easily pressed charges, and were it not for the fact Sherlock utterly despises himself, he just might have. THAT would have cost John his career. I mean, no surgery is going to hire a doctor with a criminal charge for ABH on his record.]
