Two days I think it was before the fire, I’d asked Gus if he would sign a photograph of the crew for me, for my parents who were visiting from England. And he said, ‘Yeah, sure, I’ll get you one.’ Of course, I immediately forgot about it after the fire, you know, that was a lost cause.  The astronaut secretary called me up about six months after the fire and said, ‘We’ve just got ‘round to clearing out Gus’ desk and there’s an envelope here with your name on it. Would you come over and pick it up?’ And it was a signed picture of the crew that he’d put aside for me. So that was very moving, I still have that.
