Heavenly Beat, the solo project of former Beach Fossils member John Peña, recently released his fourth studio album, John, which can be streamed and purchased from Bandcamp, here. John features a diaphanous bedroom pop aria named Demon, whose lo-fi dreaminess and shuffling beat are irresistibly spellbinding. Demon builds steadily towards brassy nostalgic lushness.
