I finished my Masters in August 2013. I finished my Internship with KAS in Cambodia in November 2013. Since then I've been on the Dole (Jobseekers pittance). You have to be unemployed and on the Dole for 3 months before you can apply for JobBridge; the Irish internship scheme which allows employers to pay well educated graduates €50 per week while the State continue to pay their Dole, altogether about 40% of MINIMUM wage in order to gain 9 months relevant experience in their chosen career path. Anyway, next week is Paddies day on Monday (yay!), then on Tuesday I have a mock interview/appointment which will be great prep for the two JobBridge interviews I have on Thursday and Friday! While I hate the JobBridge scheme, I finally feel like it could benefit me and my future.
