Niall was on the Tommy Tiernan Show last night. For anyone interested in Niall (for old time's sake or as a current fan, or both), it's really worth a watch to see him have an authentic, grounded, local conversation with someone he admires. It was so interesting to watch him in that context, as an Irish person. Even his accent changes.
For anyone who isn't familiar, the Tommy Tiernan Show is quite a unique format. It's an interview format, but Tommy (a successful stand-up comedian and presenter) does not know in advance who the guests will be.
Sometimes they're famous, sometimes they're not. Sometimes he knows who they are, sometimes not. So his talking points are spontaneous, never prepared. It can lead to many interesting conversations.
A really enjoyable watch, though the tension coming off Niall in waves as he spoke about Liam was tangible and heartbreaking.
