I have orientation for a job tomorrow. I guess that means I got the job lol. And itās one of the jobs I was hoping to get upon my billion job applications Iāve been putting in. Itās an overnight stocking job (basically 10/11:30pm-730am), which totally matches with my backwards sleep schedule (wonāt see me out of bed until after 3pm!). Iāll be getting paid extra because of overnight premium pay and because I have experience in overnight positions. I can basically wear whatever I want except for open-toed footwear (Which is fine; I donāt want to be wearing anything except my steel-toed boots anyway when it comes to heavy lifting), things with noticeable holes in them, anything withĀ āoffensiveā stuff on it, and sleeveless shirts. Iām cool with that. I got my favorite jeans and my Under Armor shirts to wear.Ā
I also will only be working 3-4 days a week which is actually very beautiful to me since itās only part time but Iāll be getting paid like $12.50/hr or something which to me is a pretty decent wage right now. Itās more than I was getting paid at my last job.Ā
And the best part?
I donāt have to deal with customers. THANK GOD.
So Iām excited. I should probably start attempting to get back in shape since Iāve been super lazy lately, but I seriously cannot wait to just start heavy lifting again and putting things out where they fit. Itāll be like a puzzle which I like.
