They basically confirmed theres been a time jump in the v9 finale and first off im mad bc i dont like time jumps but imma be REAL MAD if they put Jaune a middle aged man back in his 19 year old body only for us to find out NOR are now 25+

I like how we all assumed Ironwood was going to be punched by one specific individual. In RWBY.
In RWBY.
You know, RWBY? Where friendship is literal power?
Of course we got 6 different people beating him up at the same time, lol.
What I love about the no one is replaceable outburst is Oscar. The new member of team JNOR.
Because he didn't replace Pyrrha. JNR chose to include Oscar in their team dynamic. They helped to train him up. They love him for him and not what he can do for them or bring to the team. It was never about filling the gap Pyrrha left. It was about helping and including a friend.
They never wanted to replace Pyrrha and they haven't tried to. They have consitantly tried to honour her and what she would have wanted.
They didn't have to pull Oscar into their team dynamic. They could have left him to Qrow. Afterall Qrow was willing to take on that role. But instead, they made the choice to help Oscar. To befriend him. To give him a chance to be part of their team.
But they only did that after three seasons worth of coming to terms with, and gaining closure over losing Pyrrha. They could not pull him into their dynamic while still mourning.
Because it would feel like they were replacing her.
It was only after we saw them outside Pyrrhas monunent, that the dynamic with Oscar began to change.
They were finally ready to move forward.
He's not Pyrrja.
To them he's not even Pyrrha's replacement.
He's Oscar.
The team mate they chose to include. That they were ready to include.
And since they did that, Oscar said it himself - he finally felt like part of the team. They never made him feel like an outsider.
And honestly, I bet Pyrrha would have loved Oscar just as much as her teammates do.
I'm about to ruin the team ALPN silhouette shirt for every mfer here.
This is my very quickly taken copy of the shirt. I wear it all the time and I love it. But only now, looking at it while it's hung infront of my wardrobe did I notice some issues.
1) Ren and Nora
They're fine.
Silhouettes are nice and clear, taken from v7 marketing poses.
2) Oscar
Uhh I like his pose but Oscar only has one marketing pose and it's not this. I much prefer his silhouette to his marketing pose actually.
(bonus, he is holding his stick wrong once again in the marketing pose why roosterteeth)
I'm inclined to think this pose is the same one as his pose in the v7 intro (which uses different silhouettes that are just as confusing) but idk 🤷♀️
If it is, they cut his mf stick out. Why.
Anyway I don't recognize a lot of the silhouettes in the v7 intro anyway but if you recognize the silhouette they use for Oscar on the shirt from anywhere, can u give to me pls :)
3) Jaune
That's his mf V4 outfit. And haircut. Everyone else is in Atlas gear but Jaune wanted to be special I guess. Don't know where this silhouette is from either but it isn't a marketing pose and I don't recognize it from the show??? Why are they like this (roosterteeth marketing team)
