ive sided with the templars about 4 times and mages twice but thats probably because i prefer the missons and storyline for the templars

First did the mages, now doing the templars. Early Dorian is amazing but all-in-all I like Calpernia and Ser Barris more ;)

I’ve done both. I like the stuff with Cullen and Dorian you get with siding with the mages a LOT, but I fucking LOVE Calpernia and find her far more compelling than the alternative.

Templar story has a better antagonist, Calpernia, and slightly more interesting NPCS (Ser Barris comes to mind), but mage story gives you a magical adventure with Dorian.

I’ve seen a bit of the mage story from my sigoth’s playthrough, but not a whole lot? He doesn’t quite care for it as much as what he’s seen so far of my going with the Templars. I will probably do mages, myself, next time with my Lavallen, though, just to see for myself and get it all!

I am really enjoying the Templar story, though (I rather enjoy helping Templars stand on their own two ft again and sending Ser Barris around to help people in different areas). I’m interested to see Cullen’s side quest, as I vague know what it is for the mage sides of things--not sure if it changes if you go with Templars?

I totally did the mages. I really need to get back to my second game, so I can see the Templars (I may ahve to start over at this point, just to remember what I was doing. *snorts*)
