The living room of the BTS dorms were a complete wreck. Ten days after Christmas the boys had finally had the time to take down all the decorations that the Maknae line had insisted on putting up. Ironically, two of the three maknae’s were doing nothing but eating the chocolate oranges that they’d gotten in their stocking instead of helping put things away.

At least everything is the same general area... Jin thought as he stared at the middle of the floor where all the living room’s decorations were all piled in the center next to the bins to put them away. Sadly though, this is also where Jungkook and Jimin were sitting on the Christmas mats that were thrown aside with the other decorations to be put away.

The older member shook his head at his dongsaeng’s laziness and turned back to his task of taking the ornaments off of the tree.

He was actually exited to throw the damned thing away. Everyone was sick and tired of finding the brown pine needles in every inch of their dorm, poking their feet through their socks and somehow finding their way in every pocket they had in their clothing.

Jin stared at the bare and browning tree for a moment. Now that all the ornaments were taken off, it looked sickly with drooping branches and so many pine needles missing that there were holes you could see through to the dry and peeling bark.

“Did...did you really forget to water this tree Jeon Jungkook?? Did I not tell you to do that every day??”

Kookie sheepishly put another chocolate slice into his mouth, looking over to Jimin for an excuse. When Jimin just grinned and shrugged, popping another candy into his mouth like Junkook had, he just mumbled around his melting candy. “I did... Sometimes.”

Jin was about to protest when he carried on quickly, “But Hyung we’re so busy! How could I remember to do that every day?”

Jin sighed angrily, closing his eyes for a brief moment to compose himself. “The dorms could have caught fire, but I guess it’s fine now since we’re taking it down.”

Jungkook bowed in apology and smiled up at his hyung. Milk chocolate was stuck between his teeth, making him look more like a three year old than an idol.

Jin gaped at him in exasperation and Jimin laughed loudly around the chocolate in his own mouth.  Unable to help himself, Jin finally loosed a breathy laugh when Jungkook looked at them with a puzzled expression. He looked around at both of his hyungs with creased brows, “What? What’s so funny?”

Jimin laid back on the floor, laughing louder than before. Now he was breathing quickly through his nose to try and avoid choking on the sickly amounts of chocolate crammed into his cheeks.

Now laughing at Jimin more than at Junkook, Jin knelt down on the ivory carpet and pointed at Jungkook’s teeth with his right hand as his left covered his smiling face.

“Oh...” Jungkook licked his teeth and chuckled along with his hysterical hyungs for a moment. “I guess I’ve eaten more chocolate than I should have, right?”

Jimin had tears in his eyes as he tried to hold back his laughter long enough to finish chewing, finally able to swallow the sweets he’d crammed there. He groaned and flopped over onto his stomach, his head now propped up on his folded arms. “So. Much. Chocolate.”

“Yah!” Jin looked to him, now completely calmed down except for the wide smile stuck to his face that he was unable to take off. “Hasn’t anyone told you that shoving that much food into your mouth at once could cause you to choke?”

“Hyung~” Jimin cooed, puffing out his cheeks in a sudden display of aegyo, “It’s so good though!”

He knew then that he was going to give up to his cute pouting like he usually did, but he still sighed and said softly, “You’re a bit of an idiot Jimin. You could still get that caught in your throat you know.”

Jungkook, now with all the chocolate out of his teeth, pipped in “Hyung! Listen to your hyung!!”

Jimin looked at Kookie in mock-fury. “Hey! You’re one to talk Kookie!”

“You say to listen to your hyung,” Jin snickered, “but you can’t even water the tree like I asked once every few days!”

Dumb-struck and opened mouth, Jungkook grabbed for an excuse to give them.

“Jungkook you look like a fish with your gaping mouth!” Jimin tittered, falling back onto the carpet once more. Jin followed suite and laughed loudly along with Jimin, Jungkook finally giving up on an excuse and joining his hyungs.

“At least I didn’t shove half a chocolate orange into my mouth!”

Jimin threw the rest of his orange at Jungkook, and the three continued to laugh like that for some time.
