Sirius inhaled as he and Remus stood up in front of the Marauders. "Remus and I....are dating." Remus announced getting and encouraging squeeze from Sirius as he grabbed his boyfriends hand.
What they didn't expect was James' reaction, "Oh come on!" James yelled infuriated as he grabbed something from his desk drawer and stormed out.
Sirius looked like he was about to cry while Remus was downright angry. Then all of a sudden Lily came rushing in and kissed both the boys on the cheek.
"Thanks! And congratulations!" Lily said before running out of the room with a laugh as a vivid James Potter walked in mumbling to himself.
Now Remus got upset, "Listen James if you have a problem-" "It's not that! But you two just made me lose 20 galleons to Lily!"
The boys turned to each other confused, "What?" They asked in sync. "Lily and I had a bet. I bet you two wouldn't get together by the end of our schooling and she bet you would. I was so sure I bet 20 galleons!"
Sirius burst out laughing at this fact, "I can't believe I thought you were homophobic James!" James just huffed and turned his back to the boys.
Remus smiled and said, "Never bet against Evans. It will come back to bite you." He snorted as the night faded away into useless chatter.
