post-rescue nap time :)

spending yesterday at the rgs to see @jamesfitzjamesdotcom was so utterly delightful, not only did fabiënne deliver a brilliant lecture but she spent a good two hours afterwards chatting, answering all our questions, spilling more fitzbarrow tea.

some of us found this space through academia, some through pop culture (myself included) and no matter what, everybody is welcomed and included — which feels like a revolutionary act in a time when community can be so fragmented, and fraught.

also the society puts on a little coffee social after lectures, it’s in the beautiful hall where lady jane keeps watch in the corner 🥹 they literally had to kick us out we were hanging for so long, the polarverse equivalent of the lights coming on at the club.
