Jean François de Galaup, count of La Pérouse, is chosen by the Marquis de Castries, Minister of the Navy and by Louis XVI to lead an expedition around the world aiming to complete the discoveries of James Cook in the Pacific Ocean. This maritime expedition around the world, which he commanded, disappeared in Vanikoro (Santa Cruz Islands) in 1788, three years after his departure from Brest. For this photo montage, created in a unique model, I stayed on this expedition, with at the bottom of the page a map representing the route of this journey, a portrait of our hero of the day, a scene showing him with Louis XVI palabrating on the preparations for the project, and a painting of the kind of ship used for this adventure.

A vintage stamp representing the barbette cruiser called La Pérouse completes this creation, a kind of scrapbooking.

This one is stuck on photo montage, without risk for this stamp, since it is its protective sachet which will undergo all the damage.

It is a kind of staging that I offer you, with a theatrical decor, at the height of this pact which will not survive long.

Three vintage stamps were issued in 1950 to mark this event. it's a complete series.

Translation of the inscriptions on the stamps: Top text: "In commemoration of the signing of the pact of alliance, friendship and mutual support between China and the USSR"Bottom text: "400 - Chinese people's postal service - Four hundred yuan 1" Yuan: name of the Chinese currency.

They were all three encapsulated in an individual protective bag before being pasted on a photo montage, the printing of which was carried out on high quality paper: 280 g / m2 semi-gloss with immediate drying.

************************** 𝐏𝐫e𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: This diptych (two stamps standing) awakens our senses; these are roses that are found at the Lyon congress.

Created in 1896 by the most famous Lyonnais de Roses breeders in the world, under the name of Société Française des Rosiéristes, it takes its current and final name in 1946. This origin explains why Lyon was very quickly recognized as the cradle of the rose , and that this city housed the headquarters of the Société Française des Roses. Its mission has always remained faithful to that of the founders.

In May-June 2015, Lyon hosted: The 17th World Congress of Rose Societies.

The assembly is made from several roses which are patiently "cut" to be integrated into a decor where we find flowers; we also guess an arbor on the left.

It is a unique decoration that you will not find anywhere else since it is a creation.

𝟑) 𝐏𝐫e𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Souvenir image: anniversary of the creation of the T.A.A.F territory 1955 is the date of creation of the French Southern and Antarctic Lands.

Already difficult to find for an estimate that becomes reasonable, it becomes a unique model thanks to its presentation which will no longer be used.

That by two photo montages one concerning the presentation of the board, the other the board itself.

These are views 2 and 3 which represent the object offered for sale here.

The montages will be printed on very high quality paper (280 g per m2); these sheets are immediately drying.

From there, the stamp sheet will be glued, thanks to its protective bag on the corresponding assembly.

Each page will be put in a perforated pocket, and everything will be slipped into a rigid cardboard envelope to be sent by registered mail with delivery against signature.

Some technical details: Plate from 1985, therefore vintage, issued by the T.A.A.F and not appearing in the classic catalogs: only the triptych is mentioned.

In addition, it is very difficult to find it on specialized sites. The stamps are serrated 13.

𝟑) 𝐏𝐫e𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: The hospitable knights of Saint John of Jerusalem settled near the Church of Dalbade, from the end of the 11th century, along a major axis of the Camino de Compostela in Toulouse.

Their main function was to ensure the protection of visiting pilgrims. The Grand Priory was rebuilt by Pierre Rivalz, an architect from Toulouse, between 1668 and 1680 and displays its majestic façade struck with the arms of the Order of Malta.

This hotel in Toulouse, allows us to discover a detail of a mural on a new stamp from France issued in 2001 and numbered.
