With all of the things I’ve made for THoD over the past however-many months- I have studied different types of fashion and whatnot to create looks for Evander that at least try to fit TES lore accurate to the culture and time period; And in doing so I’ve learned a lot about putting outfits together and just fashion in general. This is starting to impact my character design decisions for JFA.

The fashion from Ayer in JFA is a mish-mosh of things- but when I was developing the clothing I was more or less focusing on various aesthetics I liked across multiple cultures while also thinking about how their land is trapped in a very tropical weather pattern. Their fashion very much had a certain look, but I struggled with narrowing down the regional differences of Ayer’s clothing- since along with various cultures clothing changes as well- And Ayer is no exception to this rule. So I am trying to think of the intricacies a bit more- the function behind the fashion. The WHY.

THoD has taught me a lot of things about my craft during the short time I’ve been working on it, but JFA is still my baby. I’m actually very thankful that I have these two projects happening at the “same time”- because I can use the fan project as a test run to my original work. Everything happens for a reason I suppose! (I say “same time” because JFA is on a hiatus atm, but you know what I mean.)

I know a majority of you are here for THoD, and that’s great! I love my Elder Scrolls content and have worked very hard on it over the years- but I really do hope that you will like JFA whenever I make more of it as well. I don’t know when that will be- but know I am always thinking about it in the background of my mind. It is my magnum opus- so I’m being very careful and intentional with it. I know there’s the whole “just finish it now and make it better later” mentality- but I don’t want to do that for JFA. There’s just too much of my heart on the line with it that would not benefit from rushing the process.

"What was your oc originally created for? is this different from what they currently are?"

I'm gonna talk about my two oldest OC's! Xoinu, my first legit OC ever- and Evander, my first Oblivion character.

Xoinu:

He was my first DnD character in middle school back in 2012; And while he's my first character I've ever made- he stayed in my heart this entire time.

He has had so many iterations, but here's the first vs. the current version! He has grown up with me. He was sixteen when I first made him, but now in "Journey From Ashes", my original manga, he is 23 at the start of the comic.

Besides growing in age as I got older- he also grew in personality. When I first made him he was such a damaged, angry child. But now.. he's SO kind and full of love despite everything he's been through.

Evander:

Evander was my first serious rp OC in Oblivion. Before him I would just play as myself- but he was the first character I made in an RPG where I played as someone else- someone very different from myself.

Like every Elder Scrolls and Fallout character of mine that would proceed him, coming up with his entire backstory took time. I made him back in 2015, and just like with Xoinu he stuck with me- except unlike Xoinu I kept coming back to him on a regular basis.

Evander was my gay awakening, too. I used to believe I liked girls because I thought that was what men were supposed to do- but.. he was gay off the rip LOL. And through rp'ing as him I discovered that I am SUPER gay. It's very funny because there's no romance in Oblivion lmao.

Over the years it's just been building him up over time. He used to be a tad more serious but as time passed his younger self in Oblivion got more and more bubbly and silly. He CAN still be serious- but you know him! He's our little goofball!

A man who participated in a gang rape has been selected for the Japanese national team for the World Cup. His name is Kaishu Sano. He raped a woman with two other former players and was arrested. He was under police custody for 15 days.

However, he reached an out-of-court settlement with the victim, paid compensation and the case was dismissed due to lack of prosecution. In Japan, it is practically impossible for victims of sexual assault to go to court, and they are forced to settle out of necessity.

The Japan Football Association (JFA) is ignoring the protests and criticisms from the public. The Japan National Team’s coach Hajime Moriyasu has claimed that the gang rape was only a mistake and allowed the rapist to stay in the national team.
