Strike (Jesse Wells x F! Allen! Reader)
INCOMPLETE #3
Summary; Jesse and Reader are hit by the second particle accelerator explosion, which sends them both into comas. When they wake up, Jesse asks reader to move to Earth 2 with her. Henry doesn’t want his daughter to leave, but wants her to be happy.
“Jesse, I’m telling you, they put us in that room for a reason,” Your heels click as you attempt to catch up to the woman. When Barry told you that they were doing another Particle Accelerator explosion, Harry was quick to send you and his daughter to a hidden room in the labs.
Only Jesse didn’t want to be kept away.
“Y/N, it’s fine,” Jesse breathes, “Don’t you trust me?”
“Yeah,” You sigh, Jesse smiling as she turns to you, stopping her steps to lift her hands,
“See? Nothings happening,”
Jesse swears she jinxed it. Mere seconds after her words, you can feel the rumble beneath your feet and hear it down the hall. “Jesse?” Your hand reaches out for her, but the sudden wave- hot, and painful- throws your both off your feet.
While Jesse only lands on her back, your body hits the wall behind you, dropping onto the ground front first with a pained exhale. Both you and Jesse are knocked unconscious.
“Jesse, Y/N, you hear me?” Harry’s voice comes through the intercoms. With no response, that should be his first sign that something has gone wrong. Something has happened to you.
It’s only seconds before Joe and Harry are running down the hall to find you. Upon your fallen figures, both men yell for their daughters- Joes stepdaughter- kneeling at each of their sides with worry,
“Honey,” Joe calls, flipping you onto your back to show the forming bruise on your jaw from the impact, while looking up at Harry’s she stopped breathing
This startles Joe into touching your neck, although he heavily exhales upon feeling a pulse. They had just lost Barry in that explosion, they couldn’t risk losing you too.
“We gotta get them to Henry,” Joe tells, already beginning to lift you up, “Come on, Harry!”
. . .
You wake up with a sharp gasp. The sudden breath of air burns your lungs, and you groan at the pain that rises in your chest.
Exhaling the deep breath, your eyes shift to the side, finding not just your father, but Harry at the side of your medical bed.
“What happened?” Your breath is weak. Voice hoarse, you attempt to clear your throat, swallowing the dryness down. Before Henry could response, your head turns to your right, instantly spotting Jesse on her own medical bed next to you,
“Jesse?” Your head lifts before you attempt to sit up, hissing at the sudden pain in your side that leads you to lay back against your pillows. In a weak motion, you extend your hand to reach out for her, all the while looking at the two fathers, “Is she okay?”
“Shes going to be,” Henry nods, easing you to relax through your panic, “And so will you, but you need to relax,”
“Stop talking so loud,” Jesses mumble matches with her hand that takes yours that was still reaching for her, her eyes raising to yours in concern, “Are you okay?”
“I’m okay,” You nod, then wince at the motion that blurs your vision, “For the most part,”
