I need Jaskier singing Holding out for a hero but it's more melancholy (like the beginning of the song in Shrek 2 but it never really gets upbeat)

he doesn't sing it in public, because he was composing it while traveling with Geralt and it was supposed to be fun and happy and cheeky but then The Mountain happened and now he only sings it to himself when he really misses Geralt and hates himself for his inability to move on this time from his infatuation (he feels a bit better when he down playes his feelings for Geralt)

#also can't stop thinking about Jaskier murmuring the song when he is in grave danger and knows he is not gonna make it #and just tries to calm himself and do at least something instead of just giving up #maybe he is like in a cell or something for his spying?#Geralt finds him accidentally actually just because he hears Jaskier's voice #and Geralt saves Jaskier and actually apologizes because he's been feeling awful #and he is not as emotionally constipated as he was thanks to Ciri #netflix could never #alternatively Jaskier whispers the song as he is about to be hung and Geralt hears him but doesn't make it in time #and is so heartbroken he loses it and kills every guard on his way to Jaskier's body #😚 suffer #geraskier #jeskier #netflix witcher #witcher au?
