Somewhat related to voices and accents (not really but whatever lol).
Here's sounds some of my OCs make.
((I've always wanted to make the sounds myself but I wouldn't even know where to start so using other's sounds is where I gotta go to for now.))
My werewolves sound like this (from 0 to 30 seconds):
So when Trevor's coming after that ass during a full moon with kill on his mind that's the last sounds you'll ever hear.
Angelus sounds way more distorted and guttural. Idk if that made any sense but yeah, he sounds different than the other breeds. I don't have any examples of it to link.
Yes, werewolves can make these sounds will in human form, it's just that it sounds uncanny, like when a human tries to sound or make wolf sounds except it does sound like how wolves snarl and growl but off. Really off. So when I say some shit like "Trevor snarled" or "Angelus growled" that's sort of what you'd hear.
Iain sounded like this (0 to 1:00):
With this mixed in, couple that with the sound of powerful massive wings flapping (her design was that of a harpy with mirror feathers):
The Mothers sound like this:
Jericho sounds like this:
Jelani (divine form):
Jelani, Jelani, Jelani....see the perfectionist in me has me in a chokehold and that's why it takes me for-fucking-ever to make set in stone choices for him.
Nevertheless I don't want just growls, roars and snarls to define what he sounds like. I want those to be secondary to his audio profile.
He's constantly emitting sounds. Just his presence alone makes sounds. It's almost nonstop. Yes, I know it's jarring. That's the point. Also the irony of Jelani being very easily susceptible to sensory overload is not lost on me or him.
Idle/neutral/standing by:
Irritated/annoyed:
Fuck you levels of pissed the fuck off:
I don't know if someone will understand what I mean by this but put the sound that plays from 1:13 to 1:52 in the background and layer into the foreground the sound that plays from 1:53 to 2:03, combine it and that's it. That's the sound.
He can sorta purr and it's similar to this:
He has an ability that's pretty much inspired by poltergeists where without even blinking he can make any area he's in to violently convulse and shake. While this happens he emits a sound that's heard in your head and it's exactly this:
The more intense the shaking the louder that screech gets inside your head. So you're overwhelmed by the sound, the screeching and the sound of the building/area shaking uncontrollably. Not a good time for anyone within the affected radius.
