@hee-blee-art asked me about my ocs fears, it’s something I love to talk about, thanks ! I’ve talked about it with my main cast, and I think many of my ocs have them mentioned in my toyhouse. But I’ll talk about some of my other characters a bit.

Nathan - Dolls. Hated them ever since watching movie about a possessed doll as a kid.

Sam - Dying, darkness, large empty rooms, silence, the wasteland, being lied to. He’s quick to go into a panic and imagine worst case scenario if facing any of these fears.

Cora - Bugs. She will scream bloody murder at the sight of a slug or roach.

Mike - heights. Likes to come up with scenarios that he escapes some grand explosion by jumping off a skyscraper to pretend he doesn’t actually find the thought of that terrifying.

Brian - If everyone in his life were to conspire against him and realize that he’s undeserving of them. On another hand, he also doesn’t like clowns or super wide smiles. Some types of laughs might make him nervous too.

Heidi - A Tyrannical society. But come on, isn’t everyone ?

Ian - The Men in Black. That and Sean.

Ty - Abandonment or feeling trapped. He hates being alone and loves when the attention is on him.

I just think these are fun <3 rn Sapphia exists somewhere between self insert/possibly a persona for me? idk if I and up deciding for Sapphia to be a sona of mine (and regardless tbh) I will be making a few changes to their design (I don’t really play genshin anymore for multiple reasons so I’d be removing the genshin aspects), but also I have other possible sona ideas (some kind of demon, a changeling/faerie, a doll, I am not sure which I wanna go with), I’m also debating having Sapphia be a dnd character, none of this is really relevant I’m just rambling now)

➳❥ 4) What song describes your OC and their partner/love interest?

These aren’t like, 100% accurate for Cashmere and Vicuña’s relationship but are on their playlist nonetheless, I haven’t listened to a lot of their playlist (or much music in general outside of like the same five songs lmao) so I need to just kinda go through and listen to and vibe check a couple of songs! Overall Cashmere and Vicuña’s relationships is built on Cashmere feeling like he has felt all his life, that he needs others than they need him. Cashmere doesn’t know what awaits them if they’re no longer of use or amusing to Vicuña!

Oh that’s always fun!! And thank you so much!! So I assume this is about my names and not oc names (sorry I’m vaguely like disoriented today so forgive me if I am in fact wrong), also forgive me that my formatting is weird I was trying to figure out how best to go about it!

➳❥ Crystalline: so I started going by Crystal because I decided I needed a “fake name” a couple years back due to paranoia about people irl finding me online (it didn’t help unforchies), I chose the name Crystal because a previous art blog url of mine had the word crystal in it and I late elongated it to Crystalline because I thought it was fun! I think I just like that this one is pretty and shiny sounding, I was planning to make it my irl name but I’m not undecided about that for a couple of reasons!

➳❥ Fae: I’m gonna be honest I chose this one because I like faeries abdjfjjt I just think they’re neat and relate to faeries (specially changelings) and thought it was pretty, I’m not entirely sure it fits me or not but I like it regardless! I like it because again faeries <3

➳❥ Celeste: I never decided if it was Celeste short for Celestia or Celestine, I mean I chose the name because I briefly wanted to go by Celestine but changed my mind, it could also just be Celeste in general. I again think the name is sparkly but like a star rather than a gemstone!

➳❥ Whimsy: this was again chosen because of a previous url of mine! On my old blog my url had the word whimsy in it and so some people started calling me Whimsy (similarly some people here call me Deity of Dei) and I liked it enough to keep it (I did used to have a character named Whim so I just consumed them that’s me now?? that was a weird things to say, sorry), I like it for similar reasons to why I like Fae!

I guess overall I like sounding like a shiny sparkling whimsical being which is why I choose the names that I do! In general I yoink my names from things I like or nicknames I was given (it’s fun, my rule on nicknames is just call me whatever ya want as long as it isn’t my legal/birth name or like something offensive)

I love names a lot and collecting them, it’s a lot of fun and I tend to change names and just pick and choose them on a whim, I will say lately I’ve run into a problem of like I do want to change my real legal name to something eventually (first and last), but I have a problem feeling disconnected from the names I’ve chosen for myself so far. Like they are me but also they aren’t me, would I be happy having one of these names as My Name and then just the trouble with picking a last name, why are last names so hard?? Sorry I feel like this is so long, I just find names so neat and interesting and fun, I love learning peoples names and why they or whoever named them those the name(s), like a name can tell you so much about a person sometimes I think?
