EASTER IN ACTION
I almost let it go by without even mentioning it! Â Just a couple of days ago, April 4 to be exact, marked the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination in Memphis, Tennessee.
From what I understand, one of King’s favourite Bible stories was that of the  Good Samaritan, a story found only in Luke 10:25-37.  It is one of the best illustrations we have of the Golden Rule: to do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
According to King, life is all about the questions we ask and how we frame them.  Those who did not stop to help the injured person might have been asking themselves the wrong question:  “If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?”Â
But the Good Samaritan asked himself a different question: “If I do not help this man, what will happen to him?”
Isn't that not only a good Easter Question but a radical, foundational, even non-negotiable question that will either make or break your life!
