Day 16: Angel, Tragic, Palette 4

"I've played the lady's maid, I've been the brewer's daughter and the draper's girl. I did everything I could to keep from the gutter," Jenai tells me, her lips rich red as wine in the starlight. "But it was there I realized I could found my own kingdom. Now, I dine with lords and queens. I sleep in a castle and I have the influence to keep my girls safe. We don't have to risk our necks in alleys now, we can sell what we have in palace halls."

So I've been working on this piece for almost half a year. Computer crashed, thought I lost everything, got super depressed and stopped drawing for 5 months, found a backup, had to redo 4 pieces, and now here we are! I wanted to do the entire song but that's....not going to happen. Maybe I'll do some more later, I planned to loop back around to Jeyh rediscovering a love for life with Phillos but- I don't want to keep this in the vault for all eternity.
