Sam Wilson x Bucky Barnes - Star Wars AU.

It’s the quiet that makes Sam draw up short, when he slides into the shadows and darkness of the hanger. Settling into lean against the durasteel wall, he presses his hand more firmly against his side — where his Commander’s blaster shot had skimmed him — and lets himself settle. Waiting, watching, to ensure none of his troopers had followed after him.
He goes to take a break, but finds a sob catching in his throat when the force — normally a soft, soothing lullaby of light and love and peace — twists with screams of agony and fear and pain.
His men had turned on him.
Which meant, his brothers and sisters, his family's men had turned on them as well.
Oh, he thinks, his eyes welling up with tears, that’s what he was feeling.
Their deaths.
Oh.
Squeezing his eyes shut, he presses his palm against the burning of his wound, and gives himself just a moment longer to feel the anguish and loss, before taking a breath and centering himself to release his feelings into the force.
There would be time later to properly mourn their passing, the loss of his people — of his entire culture's loss — but that time would come later. Once he was off Coruscant. When he was far away from the inner core, and this, this new Empire.
“Sam?”
Startling violently, Sam let out a hiss as he pulled at his wound, but didn’t let that stop him as he called his lightsaber to his free hand, igniting it as he moved into a defensive stance. It was only then, that he took in who was standing before him, staring like he didn’t understand what was happening.
It’s Bucky. He’s safe. He hasn’t been found by anyone he didn’t want.
“Sam?” Bucky calls, strangled and high pitch as his eyes adjust to the darkness and he sees the state the other is in. “ E chu ta !” He spits out, anger and worry twisting his face into a deep frown as he rushes forward. Gently, he presses his hand over Sam’s and lets out a low growl of anger. “Kriff, Sam, what happened to you?” he asks, as he moves his other hand up, to curl around the side of Sam’s neck, thumb pressing gently against the pulse point.
As if he needed to feel, to know, Sam's heart was still beating. Still thrumming with life.
“My, my men,” he murmurs out, words catching around the hard lump suddenly in his throat but cuts himself off. The words seemingly too much to speak into existence, even after living through what had happened. Instead, he swallows thickly, he tries to continue on haltingly. “I need to. I. I need to,” Sam cuts himself off with a low moan of pain, as he squeezes his eyes shut. He takes a moment, as long as he dares, before adding on, “Need, need to get off planet.”
Opening his eyes, he peers, pleads really, at Bucky, before quietly asking, “Will you help me?”.
Bucky stares, almost dumbfounded, before answering hoarsely, “Or course. Of course, Sam,” his tone laced with durasteel. “You don’t even need to ask. You know that.”

jenneelackles replied to your post: And at first Sam would be like no, but Ruby would remind him that Sam’s powers are good and that he should use them too help people and so he does. ---- But Ruby isn't like love interest only for the main character she's fucking using Sam for her own gain and the gain of the Sith order and in the end she DOES love Sam, heck it's a married!Samruby au but she's so much more than that she's a strong, powerful Sith she TRAINED Sam she led the Siths in destroying the Jedi temple and although she can do things for others, likes doing things for others, she does a lot for herself and manipulates people to self gain. She manipulated Sam into becoming a Sith, but she chose to love him back and the two make an amazing tag team.

And Cas would have to tell him he knows, but its hard cause Sam is his friend and sam is so happy over that power, cause it can help people ugh. (what if Cas tells Dean though?) ------- Michael would hate to urge Cas to tell, but it's necessary to the rule book if Sam won't know then Sam will be forced out the Order. Cas argues until Michael gives in and says at least tell his brother. So Cas tells Dean (both aren't fond of each other, though. One's a bounty hunter who will do any dirty work for pay while the other is a Jedi master who believes in the righteous act-and owns a double edged light-saber) and Dean, being 'protective', doesn't tell Sam but that's a load of bull on Dean's part. Sam finds out while he's playing with his lightning gift and showing the Jedi younglings. Chuck, who is the Yoda parallel in this au, asks Sam to walk with him through the temple. That's when Chuck gives Sam the Jedi history 101 and introduces the Sith Lords, with Lucifer being head of their order. (Lucifer is basically Palatine in this au, with Ruby, Meg, and Abaddon as his 'children'. Later he reveals more of his students like Gadreel (who was taken and trained since a very young age), Azazael, and Alastaer. Crowley is a merchant who works with the Sith for self gain.) Sam now understanding the true nature of his 'gift', flees to an underground club in Coruscant, to drink out his misery. That's where he meets Ruby, and tags along with her, only to fall in love with her and become a Sith Lord himself-one of Lucifer's prize gems because Sam was meant to be the chosen one in the Jedi prophecy.
malcolmiavellian said: OH MAN SO SAD THOUGH cas bein all like this is probably a problem but he’s on his way to being an excellent jedi master and if i bring this up it'll crush him ---- But Sam seeing no problem with it at first he's using it to help young children on Coruscant fix their racers and Dean tries to bottle some of the electricity to see if the could use it in his blaster (the winchesters were raised bounty hunters) and Cas teaches Sam how to deflect it using a saber and is quiet about the true nature of his gift until Jedi elder Michael calls him in and tells him that Sam NEEDS to know oh dear
