Morrison and Dante finally go on vacation somewhere far away from Redgrave, but Dante is worried sick about being away from his children for too long. He tries to hide it but heâs texting the babysitter (Nero, Leon, or Vergil) every five minutes.
Leon had apologized profusely when it came to babysitting the demon babies, saying that he and Chris had to go upstate to a convention of sorts for the Bioterrorism Alliance. They would be gone the whole weekend, but Leon said he would be able to come and relieve whoever Morrison and Dante had babysitting Reddie, Greenie and Blue. Dante accepted Leonâs offer, but he still had needed someone to care for the babies over the weekend.Â
Nero wasnât around obviously, him, Nico, Lady and Trish having taken over the Devil-Hunting business while Dante was away. The demons seemed to alway double whenever Dante did go away. Kyrie wasnât available due to her work at the orphanage and Patty was helping her, and Dante didnât want to burden them with anymore babies.Â
Which left Dante with one last option: Vergil.Â
Although they were no longer trying to kill one another due to some difference as to why they existed, they still were not on the best terms. Good enough to still be in the same room as one another, but they werenât best friends for life. Dante still trusted him enough to watch after them. Though the more paranoid part of his mind kept thinking something bad was going to happen to them.Â
Hence why he was calling Vergil again...just for another check-up.Â
âDante, this is the fifth time youâve called to check on the children in the last...three hours.â Vergilâs voice informed the Omega, probably pausing to check the clock on the wall, âI may not have had a hand in raising Nero, but I do think I am capable enough to care for three little half-demon, half-human hybrids no bigger than dolls.âÂ
âWell,â Dante said with a nervous chuckle as he and Morrison got settled in their hotel room, standing on the balcony overlooking the ocean, âI just...miss them, yâknow? Iâm always around the little buggers so itâs weird when Iâm not.âÂ
âGood-bye Dante.â Vergil said before hanging up the phone, sitting with the babies by the fireplace, reading a story aloud to them.Â
Dante looked at the cellphone, giving it a look before sighing. Morrison opened the sliding door, asking if everything was alright with Patty. He didnât know that Dante had called Devil May Cry again. Dante tucked the phone in his pocket with a faux smile, nodding and informing Morrison that everything was âa-okayâ.Â
âAre you sure?â Morrison asked as he hugged Dante close, âYou didnât call Vergil again, did you?âÂ
Dante scoffed and gave a fake look of surprise, âWhat? No!â He chuckled, âWhy would I do that? We just got here!âÂ
âBecause you called Devil May Cry four times already.â Morrison said, âAnd I know how much you worry about the babies...despite acting like you donât actually care.âÂ
Dante waved a hand at him with another chuckle, âIâm fine! All fine! Letâs vacation and get some drinks and all that fun stuff.âÂ
Morrison smiled and pulled Dante inside, âGood, letâs get settled in and then we can do whatever you want to do.âÂ
Dante gave a curt nod and a smile, âRight.âÂ

Though, Dante did anything except relax, constantly calling the shop even when Leon showed up on Monday. During the weekend, Vergil purposely didnât answer, answering only after several tries and telling Dante to relax or he was going to come to the beach and make him relax. Dante should have found that amusing, considering it took a lot to test his brotherâs patience nowadays. Vergil must have been relieved when Leon showed up on Monday.Â
âDante, everything is fine.â Leon reassured, talking to Dante via face-time, âWeâre sitting here and having breakfast. Chris even made the babies baby-sized pancakes. Here, Reddie, Blue, Greenie, talk to your Mama.âÂ
Dante wore a look of relief as Leon turned the screen to the babies, Dante even chuckling as the little demon babies scurried across the table and cooed at the screen in excitement. Reddie sniffed at the camera as Greenieâs little claws reached at it, as if trying to get to Dante. Dante smiled and said hi to his little pups, Morrison chuckling as well as he leaned over at breakfast to see their little ones.Â
âThey behave for Vergil?â Dante asked.Â
Leon chuckled, flipping the screen back to himself, Blue climbing up on to Leonâs shoulder, sitting in the frame as Leon fed him another tiny pancake, âYeah. Though it was kind of funny. They were speaking whole sentences when we got here.âÂ
Dante raised a brow at that, âLike...English?âÂ
Leon nodded, Blue leaning forward and causing Leon to put his hand in front of the little baby so he didnât accidentally fall, âYeah. Vergil couldnât understand their cooing, so he gave them âMagical Cookiesâ and the elixir they were made with made them speak clear as day. Though, it was like baby talk.âÂ
Danteâs eyes were wide in horror, âIt didnât do anything to them, did it? Theyâre okay, right? Oh, I swear Iâm gonna-!âÂ
Leon looked at the screen with a raised brow of his own, exchanged a look with Blue and then both looked back at the screen, âUh, Dante? You just saw them. Theyâre alright. He just wanted to understand them so he didnât accidentally mess up.âÂ
âMess up?â Dante asked in confusion once he regained his composure.Â
Leon nodded, explaining that Vergil had been nervous about babysitting and didnât want to mess up doing so for the first time. He was very careful with them and only gave them the elixir so he could ask them what they ate, what they wanted, etc. He didnât want to let Dante down.Â
Dante was quiet as he looked at the screen, feeling almost...touched by the admission. Vergil had been nervous? And he didnât want to let Dante down? Why would he care? Vergil knew everything and was seemingly confident in everything he did. Dante asked if Leon was sure, and Leon confirmed it, saying that Vergil did have his moments where he wasnât one-hundred percent confident. He just wasnât good at admitting it.Â
âHe wouldnât admit it in front of Chris,â Leon explained, âCause he thinks heâs superior to Chris.âÂ
âLike hell!â Chris called in the background.Â
Leon chuckled, âBut, he really did want to do good by you. You kind of made him doubt himself with how much you called though.âÂ
Dante gave another look, looking up at Morrison with a small pout, âWell...if you see him before I do...can you tell him Iâm sorry? And that I think he did a good job?âÂ
Leon smiled and nodded, âSure thing. Gotta go. Weâre taking the little guys to the Aquarium this afternoon. Nero and Kyrie and Pattyâs idea, so I gotta give these little ones their baths.â Leon explained, tickling Blueâs tummy, making the baby giggle, âSay âBye Mama! I love you!ââÂ
Danteâs heart swooned as the little ones cooed loudly before they hung-up. He didnât call back as often, only calling once in the morning and once at night.Â

Did I say crazy bitches? I'm sorry, I meant ladies.
Parent!AU (Omegaverse), Strangers to lovers, âYou confuse me.â (Morrison x Dante) ;)
(Not really Parent!AU but a sneak peek at a future project Iâm working on.)Â WARNING: Omegaverse, talks of prostitution and other mature themes.
Morrison raised a brow as he watched the Omega throwback another slice of pizza, unable to believe that the younger had practically devoured the second pizza as fast as he devoured the first. Although Dante was pregnant, that could have been why he was so hungry. Lately, however, Morrison had been making dinner and breakfast and he had never seen Dante eat more than one serving nor had he eaten it as fast as he ate the pizza.Â
Though, Morrison had started doing this in hopes that Dante would stop running around at night after Devil Hunting and sleeping with random people to earn a little extra cash. Thatâs also why Morrison pardoned his debt and why he had convinced Lady to pardon Dante on at least fifty-percent of the debt that the half-demon owed her. Morrison had managed to work with some business men and had even gotten Lady her cut.Â
âHungry?â Morrison asked, lowering his newspaper as the Omega licked his own fingers before licking his lips.
âJust a tad.â Dante admitted, closing the second pizza box before pushing it aside, settling his hands on his stomach, unaware that he smelled of a pregnant Omega.Â
âAnd...why is that?â Morrison asked, knowing the reason but wondering if Dante was going to be honest with him...or wondering if Dante was even aware. Â
âI have an idea.â The Omega admitted, âProbably all those nights working out after kicking some demon ass.âÂ
Morrison raised a brow, setting his newspaper in his lap, âOh? And are you sure itâs not something else?âÂ
Dante shook his head, tossing the empty pizza boxes toward the door, watching them as the one landed on top of the trashcan while the other bounced off of the wall and sat abandoned on the floor, âNope. Just that.âÂ
With a sigh, Morrison sat the newspaper down on the side table before rising up from the couch, Dante not even looking over as he picked up his magazine. Morrison contemplated what to do or say next as he approached the desk, his hands in his pocket as he looked around. His eyes settled on Dante once more, staring at the front cover of the magazine the Omega was reading.
âYou confuse me, you know that?â Morrison asked, leaning on the desk.Â
âWhat are you on about?â Dante asked in response, not even bothering to look the Alpha in the eye as he flipped the page.Â
âYou confuse me,â Morrison repeated as he sat on the edge of the desk, âYou donât mind a hand-out, but youâre never willing to accept help or even ask for anything for free. You play everything off like the world is fine and dandy, but then will spend most afternoons brooding or napping.âÂ
Now Morrison had the Omegaâs full attention, the Omega lowering the magazine and looking up at him with a raised brow. Albeit Dante seemed a bit annoyed about having to tear his attention away from the pretty Betas, Alphas, and Omegas in his magazine. Nonetheless, Morrison was relieved that Dante was at least looking him in the eye.Â
âAnd the worst thing about all this?â Morrison questioned, âYou donât want to admit when something is wrong...either that or youâre absolutely clueless.âÂ
âI am not.â Dante countered, âIâm just not the type to talk feelings and all that bullshit.âÂ
âReally?â Morrison asked, âSo, are you aware that youâre pregnant?âÂ
Dante had his tongue in his cheek as he looked up at Morrison, brow still raised but now it seemed like he was skeptical of Morrisonâs words. Taking that as his cue to continue, Morrison continued on to say that Danteâs scent was drastically different from before. He didnât smell normal, and it wasnât due to his devil half. He had been eating more than usual, but would catch himself when he was up in the apartment with Morrison, mainly because they sat face-to-face upstairs. Not to mention, the Omega would wake up early in the morning, puking his guts out. Which was unusual because demons didnât get sick nor did Dante wake up earlier than ten-thirty.Â
âYou smell like any normal pregnant Omega.â Morrison said, âSo, how long has it been like that?â
He didnât receive a response from the Omega as Dante went back to his magazine, pretending as though Morrison hadnât even been there. With another heavy sigh, Morrison carefully took the magazine from Dante, earning a startled and annoyed protest from the younger. Setting it down beside him, Morrison repeated his question, forcing Dante to look him in the eye.Â
Dante crossed his arms and wore a slight pout, looking away from the man before mumbling something under his breath.Â
âPardon?â Morrison asked, leaning in slightly due to not being able to hear him.Â
â...Three weeksâŠâ Dante muttered.Â
âOkay.â Morrison said with a nod, âAnd...whoâs baby is it?âÂ
Dante merely shrugged, âItâs either that guy that was chasing that waitress, Cindy down at Restaurant Fredi...or that guy down by the biker bar...I donât keep track of time and faces.âÂ
âJesus, Dante.â Morrison sighed, âThatâs dangerous. What if it had been a demon? Some bastard after your blood or something?âÂ
Again, Dante merely shrugged, not offering a reply. He didnât really care, as long as they paid well or took care of him that night. He didnât know what he was going to do with the baby, since he couldnât afford to get rid of it. He asked if Morrison was going to lecture him some more or be disappointed and leave. Morrison gave a sympathetic look, feeling bad for the Omega as he stood from Danteâs desk.Â
Dante looked away, looking down at the tops of his calves, expecting Morrison to grab his things and leave in disgust.Â
Morrison did indeed grab his things, but he turned back to Dante, âCâmon.âÂ
Dante looked up at the man in surprise, âWhat? Where are we going?âÂ
âThereâs a clinic downtown.â Morrison said, âIâll drive you down there and you can talk with some people there about possible options. Donât worry about the costs...Iâll take care of them.âÂ
Dante was utterly confused, his eyes wide in surprise, â...really?âÂ
Morrison nodded, âAnd after that...you and I will talk. Now, câmon.â _______________________________________________________

Prompt #16 Dante picking Chris over Morrison đ
Yeah, about just a short cheating fic (Cause I love soft Dante x Morrison too much)? _______________________________________________________________
It was admittedly a terrible idea to sleep with a client, but when the man offers to buy you dinner and even offers to help you out with jobs to help you climb out of debt, well, how can anyone expect Dante to say no? Did that make him a gold digger? Not necessarily. He did genuinely enjoy Chris Redfieldâs company, and the man was admittedly attractive. Probably didnât help that he was an Alpha...and the father of the little half-demon babies currently fluttering around the office due to a one-night stand.Â
Well, he didnât know if they were Chrisâs...or Morrisonâs, but Dante had to guess that they were Chrisâs because, despite the color of his scales, Reddie wasnât named after them like his brothers. No, the little half-demon was named âRedâ because of the little tuft of red that peeked through the mop of white hair. And last time he checked, and asked, Morrison didnât have any red-heads in his family.Â
Chris on the other hand...well, ask his little sister, Claire...the red-head.
Dante sure as hell didnât have any red-heads that he knew of. His mother had been a blonde and his father had the same snow white hair as him, Vergil and Nero. He couldnât shapeshift and change his hair like Vergil could, but who the hell only knew what else Vergil knew how to do, so the red-hair couldnât have come from Dante. Though apparently, through the ârecessive genesâ from his Mom, as Patty put it, he could make a red-headed baby with another person with those genes.Â
Whatever the hell those were.Â
Either way, through sex and genes, thatâs how he ended up with two salt and pepper haired babies and a white and red-headed one. And scales. And wings, both of which made them look more part dragon and part human than the half demon and half human babies that were supposed to be.Â
Either way, Dante couldnât bring himself to admit that the babies werenât actually Morrisonâs, especially after all the man had done and continued to do for him and Patty, when the little girl turned young woman came around. It would have broken his heart and Dante didnât want to lose him due to a stupid mistake. Besides, the babies didnât have any distinguishable features outside of their hair, scales, wings and tails. Their human faces looked like normal little babies.
So, he never told him the truth about their father, going along with the story that Reddie, Greenie, and Blue were actually Morrisonâs. He never intended to.Â
