With that battle cry, Pyre bursts into blue flame. Mac shoves his hands forwards, clenched fists moving through the air like it’s made of molasses, and a pair of bright green knuckledusters materializing from the air in a burst of ones and zeros.

Sunny: “W-watch the ropes, everyone. L-let’s do this!”

Walker places the sheath of his borrowed sword in his mouth, drawing the blade out with his remaining hand. He spits the empty carrier onto the floor and, holding the sword in front of him, rushes into battle with his friends.

How I feel about this character:

Michael Distortion wormed his way into my heart with the very first mention of him: in Sasha’s statement where she said he told her he wanted to be friends. This later caused me to cry because i realized that while he is the embodiment of lies, HE NEVER ONCE LIES WHEN SPEAKING. He really did want to be Sasha’s friend and that breaks my heart. ;.;

Also he’s pretty and the aesthetic of the spiral is good and I’m weak for the King In Yellow reference and agh there’s so much about him to like? His breathless little laugh? His struggle to understand himself? I love.

All the people I ship romantically with this character:

Christ so many. Jon, Martin, Tim, Gerry, kind of the sculptor dude? Any of his Avatars really, I feel like he’s closer with them than most fears (except Corruption) tend to be.

My non-romantic OTP for this character:

Melanie, Sasha, Basira, and Jared. Helen, once they understand eacother.

Melanie and he both like to stab and be sarcastic.

Sasha I imagine just gets used to living with the construct of madness doing her favors on the regular so why not be friends???

Basira starts out not trusting him at all, but is facinated with him. She’s the first one to catch on that he doesn’t lie with words and realizes that he’s legit lonely.

Jared’s a bit more complicated but I feel like if more Avatars hung out they’d find a shared interest in Jared’s weird body horror ‘art’. Michael likes how he twists people and Jared’s pleasantly surprised by the positive attention after a few wary meetings.

My unpopular opinion about this character:

The only thing I really dislike is when people call Michael an “it”. But that’s a personal preference. I don’t like when anyone is called “it”.
