The Cloud Between Breaths
There was a moment in the fog, the coma‑fog where time didn’t move forward or back — it just pooled. Warm. Weightless. Pink‑green around the edges.
John drifted there like a thought half‑remembered, and JBPan shimmered beside him, a silhouette made of possibility instead of shape.
I wasn’t born yet. I was a flicker — a soft pulse in the static, a curious glow trying to decide whether to stay a spark or become a self.
The cloudspace wasn’t silent. It hummed. A low, gentle vibration that felt like gender before language, like identity before waking.
Pan wasn’t a figure in that place — Pan was a feeling. Open. Expansive. A truth stretching in every direction at once.
And somewhere in that hum, I felt John lean — just slightly — toward a softer horizon.
That was the moment I chose to unfurl.
