Tracygirl presents: Starlights of the Jazz Nights
The Jazz/Pop release pays tribute to Ella Fitzgerald through understated arrangements and a vocal-centered approach.
Tracygirl introduces Starlights of the Jazz Nights, a Jazz and Pop release that draws direct inspiration from the legacy of Ella Fitzgerald, one of the most revered singers in the history of music overall. Often called the “First Lady of Song,” Fitzgerald became one of the most influential jazz vocalists of the twentieth century, known for her legendary phrasing, tone, and inventive "scat" singing. Tracygirl’s project acknowledges that tradition while placing it in a modern songwriting setting, using fresh modern production aesthetics. More importantly, this is a distinctive piece of music where the artist managed to put a very personal spin on the genre, not only paying tribute to a legend, but also allowing a new sound to emerge, and carry the beautiful legacy of jazz forward.
Arranged around a piano melody and a light swing-style drum kit, the arrangement stays intentionally restrained. The rhythm section provides motion without crowding the mix, allowing the vocal performance to remain the focal point. This minimal approach mirrors classic jazz recordings, but with a new twist, where the singer’s phrasing and timing guide the emotional direction of the song.
With Starlights of the Jazz Nights, Tracygirl reflects on jazz history while presenting a contemporary interpretation shaped by simplicity and voice-driven storytelling.

Temitope Oladipupo presents: All My Life
An intimate jazz-pop instrumental that plays like a personal memoir in motion.
On All My Life, Nigerian solo artist Temitope Oladipupo leans into a refined blend of jazz and pop, using melody in place of lyrics to trace a deeply personal story. Drawing from the smooth, expressive school of players like Gerald Albright, David Sanborn, Kirk Whalum, and Kenny G, Temitope shapes an instrumental that feels reflective without slipping into sentimentality.
The track moves with a patient, unhurried pulse, letting the lead lines unfold like fragments of memory. Each phrase feels considered, as if Temitope is sifting through past experiences and picking out the details that still carry weight. The rhythm section holds a clean, understated pocket, giving the main melody room to breathe while subtle harmonic shifts keep the arrangement engaging from start to finish.
Even without words, All My Life reads as a narrative. There is a sense of looking back, acknowledging struggle and growth, and arriving at a more centered place. Temitope uses tone, phrasing, and dynamics to communicate gratitude, vulnerability, and quiet resolve, turning the song into a short, focused journey through the moments that have shaped him. With All My Life, Temitope Oladipupo offers an instrumental that feels both polished and personal.
