SADLY i dont rly get excited by speculations like these :((((((( i had my heart broken too many times by dceu when i wanted hal to show up in the movies, every week id get news abt ‘GREEN LANTERN SPECULATED TO APPEAR IN BATMAN V SUPERMAN’ and id get so excited only to get Crushed later

DAMN RIGHT U BETTER TELL ME HOW IT GOES but honestly the main thing i need to tell you is: don’t be afraid to fall. because you will. sometimes hard. sometimes not that bad. but you will fall and all i can say is pick an asscheek and land on it cos landing on your tail bone SUCKS. 

but also don’t get discouraged if you do fall, or don’t catch something as quick as the other girls. don’t ever compare yourself to another skater. we all progress at our own pace, and some girls just hit the track and start playing within weeks. some take months. some take years. don’t let that bother you. just keep getting up, that’s what should matter 

as far as gear, don’t worry about anything unless you’re fully committed to playing. just see if they have some loner gear you can borrow, or grab some cheap pads. after a practice or two, and you feel that this is what you really wanna do, DO NOT go with cheap pads/helmet. this is your body, you only get one, so take care of it. derby is expensive!!

and lastly, make sure to talk! ask vets ( seasoned skaters ) about how they do smth, what they do, little tips like that. i know for a fact most vets love snatching up freshies and tucking them under their wing. 

19. What do they think about before falling asleep at night?

Frank would probably be one of those people who can clear his mind pretty easily. Despite all of the bullshit he’s been through, he knows that a certain amount of sleep is essential and just more or less gets it over with. It’s the nights when he is so tired he passes out that pose an issue. In those hazy between times, Frank thinks of his family. He almost imagines he can feel Maria in the bed beside him or one of the kids sneaking in under the covers to join them after a bad dream. He hates those times so fucking much.

24. Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all?

When he was in school, I head canon that Frank was a total history nerd. Especially the military stuff. It was a big reason he decided to go into the military. Even after school, he’d often find himself laying on the couch with a history show on--which Maria groaned about constantly. But after losing his family, Frank doesn’t care about history or much of anything besides his mission.
