One of my absolute fav things about IDW scavenger is that he changed his paint to hide when Skywatch was hunting down any transformer.
He was the ONLY constructicon to not get caught because he was the only one who realized being neon green and purple was maybe a bad idea and I fucking ADORE him for that.
Like IDW has it’s issues, esp with the homogenization of the constructicons, but this was very fun of him and makes sense why Prowl trusted him with the “double agent” routine later.
