...is a fic by my dear friend that diverges from The 100 canon after season 4 and takes us into the time gap between s4 and s5. on its face, the fic sets out to ask the question: what if harper had tried to take jasper with them up to the Go-Sci Ring? in doing so, the fic reveals another layer: what else might monty have meant when he said harper was the only girl he'd ever loved? and who is harper mcintyre, anyways?
it's complete and new chapters come out every sunday. as of my typing this, you can read the first 92k of this story on ao3 with the rest of the chapters waiting in the loading docks (i've read them, they exist!). it's well worth the chance if you have some time and want to dive into the nitty-gritty of surviving a nuclear death wave in space as a teenager in love.
